Well, I finally did it. I got to thinking about black and white comics which might be better mixed with Allan's when Karri Aronen (Donatsue) popped to mind. My muse squealed with joy and went diving for the appropriate material. I took that moment of inattentiveness to sneak up with a Louisville Slugger #33 and beat the little bugger senseless. Hopefully, this means I can sleep in for once.

My turn! I present the original color and reworked greyscale of the same piece. Yes, it is hacked up art from Allan's VCL site, I cannot for the life of me emulate his style.
I think the greyscale one came out looking beter than the color version.

Wow. All this nifty fanart.. I'm going to have to get that damned gallery updated. No thumbnails, this time, though. They're too time-consuming to make in such quantities.
(If I seem like a tremendously lazy ass when it comes to the website, it's because it, like many other things, feels WAY too much like work. It is also for this reason that the writing, drawing, and inking of comics is generally far ahead of post-processing.)
And as to hacking the VCL account, I approve! Maybe I should get some more large artwork in there after the Holidays.

Aww, shucks. Thanks, you two. This is probably the *counts on fingers* eleventh webcomic I subscribe to. I'd compliment Allen, but he's probably heard it all before.

Oh Allan...
1) In case you weren't aware, Fchan is back up.
2) In case you weren't aware, the /s/ board has some Mimiga lovin'.
3) In case you weren't aware, there is an /ah/ board for all the stuff that was too disturbing for /a/. I strongly recommend you do not go there unless you feel you can handle things that creep ME out. (I still go there...because I can handle things that creep me out.)
