yep, that's an example of what DC can do when the writers put some effort in.
interesting plot, good character interaction and some twists.

"I dunno, I want to take off early; lets just mix things up with a bunch of B-list heros with cool new superpowers and throw some people through walls."
"Brilliant, people crashing through walls is the coolest fight scene thing evar!"
-is still a decent way to kill time, as much as I am embarrassed to admit it.
Think Selma Reesdale is one of those cool little background clues?
