They made it. In a cheap box with a no-cover-art double-sided disk, but they made it. And I've got it. Yee. Hah.

(Found it at Fred Meyer; I wouldn't know if Amazon's got it or not.)

The pilot is the only new episode I've watched. It's... okay. It goes mushier than any other episode (probably why it was never aired) but you get some good moments and we learn where Hunter's cone comes from.

We also get the following:

"Katland's sister is in heat and we're going to watch her lower her standards."
"Sierra, you know how when you were little we told you you could tell us about anything?"
"Yeah?"
"That time has passed."

Just... dude.

I wasn't very impressed with Father of the Pride really. Visually it was awesome. But I found the characters kind of boring, it seemed like the typical TV family but they were animals. I thought the first episode was brilliant, definately hilarious but it wasn't as funny afterwards, but there were some funny moments. There were far too many American pop culture refferences that I didn't get. What the hell is with Dick Cheney?

And what do you know, my rank has increased!

I never saw the show... although my local newspaper's TV columnist put it on his list of the top 5 worst shows of the past season. *shrugs*

I still might try to watch it sometime.

Curiously enough, two nights ago, I also saw this for the first time.

Despite my yearnings, none of the other new episodes were played, because many of the other people in the room HADN'T seen all the of the original aired ones. (And I've got those on my hard drive.)
