Okay....not expected. And now I'm even more concerned with what this has to do with the Spy Guild...although she might not be working for them as I originally thought.

For those of you who aren't completely sure, that is indeed Dr. Richard Hundecoph.

Well, it would explain how the female character could fly with the miniscule wing flaps she had. I've seen the flying squirrel suits and studied the mechanics of them and their predecessors. Controlled rapid descent is still rapid descent with those suits. Mad science, on the other hand, could devise ways to reduce gravity's pull or propel a person by breaking Newton's third law.

Once again, you've gotten me very curious about a comic with an intro that doesn't give away much in the way of specific details. Now I'm going to be wondering about this one all month while I'm gone... *sighs*

On a different note, your backgrounds are coming along quite nicely. ^^

Whoo hoo!
The doctor is back in the house!
Don't be so hard on yourself. It's not healthy.
So, we can assume that, timelinewise, this is after the wedding.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Clearly they use some of those hover-generator things that let mad scientists freak unobservant people out.

In "active flight" mode, the flaps are purely for guidance, like a rudder.

Newton's law of universal gravitation is still in effect, but it doesn't apply to Eliza's gravity foils, which operate by Seusian Quantum Gravity effects.

Seus, as in Dr. Peggy Seus.

And now you know... the rest of the story.

"Hah! And they told me anti-gravity underwear had no practical applications!"
"..."
"Well, other than the Wonderbra people. They seemed quite enthused."

- Dr. Seus

- Jarylan, taking liberties with characters.
