Golly, I've got several projects in various stages of development, and I can't decide which to do first.

How's about y'all help me prioritize a little?

Basically, I've got a DramaComedy strip, an AdventureComedy strip, and a DramaAdventure strip churning around up here, and I'm not quite sure which one will get done first.

I voted for Comedy as well, and Adventure was my second choice. I get enough Drama in real life.

Comedy! I'm predictable that way. I'd prefer AdventureComedy to DramaComedy.

Or you could do what I'm planning to do (...eventually) and draw a few strips of each... that way you can find out which one you like drawing the most, as well as which one we like reading the most.

--RS (Or you could go the Henry Fielding route and write a comi-prosai-epic. I'm just sayin'.)

Oh, the plan is still to do a little of this and a little of that, but I'm trying to decide which one to start shoving out the door first.

(It may interest you to know that the Finale isn't actually done yet. After next week, there are three strips left, one of which is finished, one of which is only half colored, and one of which doesn't even have the speech baloons put in yet. Ironically enough, the least finished one is due out first, and vice versa!)

I voted Adventure.
All the comics I read are comdedy/drama, would be nice to see something different.

Shortly after my last post on the matter, the muse in charge of Unit Zero grabbed a hold of me and made me do two new pages and a minor character redesign. From the look of things, Unit Zero's up next, which fits the poll about perfectly, as it is essentially an adventure comedy with dramatic elements and themes. What we've seen so far is just a shade or two more serious than the general comic; it lightens up a bit in chapter two, with a few minor exceptions.

The inside of Arnold's head is FUN.

Adventure/Comedy would be nice.. I don't see much of that.. RPG World and Adventurers! are the most I see of that, usually. 8 bit as of late has been Adventure/Retarded save for choice jokes...

Fight Cast or Evade isn't too bad, if you don't mind all the characters having oddly huge feet. :)

ADVENTURRRRRRRE! And throw in some Comedy, it's gooood.

And hugely huge feet are nothing bad, in my opinion.

You know, I don't think even I'm gonna sink to that comment.

The muse in charge of Unit Zero is not a "nice girl" at all, and getting grabbed by said muse can be roughly equated to being hurled from one airlock to another in an adjacent spaceship without the comfort of a space suit.

So, with blood oozing from my eyelids and the kind of chapped lips you only get from being the last survivor of an Aliens movie, I finished inking the fourth page of the second chapter, which is going very nicely as the moment I was most worried about translating from my storyboards to bristol got a much needed museflash. I may have overdone it, however, as the page was too silly to begin with and is now leaning too serious. It's still good, has one joke, and sets the next page up well, so I'm going to leave it be.

Also, on the technical side of things, I've shaken the last of the bugs out of the new scanner/photoshop elements combo and color work produced from scanned images is really starting to look, you'll forgive the expression, friggin' good. I'm particularly proud of the new way I'm handling the specular reflections on Griffin's goggles. I'm a little concerned that I'm not yet giving each color a consistent meaning, but reds, blues, and greens are at least beginning to have their own meanings.

(I think a lot of people will react strongly to my use of red in the upcoming episodes.)
