My sword is a cypher, not a bastard sword. It does 1d8 damage, and attacks in a tonfa like pattern, ala Strider. Which is why it's even more bad ass. Are you refering to Cyril be your GM? If you have OpenRPG (http://www.openrpg.com) he can GM for you in his Saturday evening game (8-12ish EST). Heh. Although now I'm volunteering him, and he might not like that. But I'm sure he'd like you to come. Any of the other forumites RPers? I was thinking of starting my own home brewed game based on my own home brewed game (the one Cyril and Zavion came from). Start a thread for it if you're interested. (Don't want to spam the Drawn Together thread with RPing stuff, even if Drawn Together is barely worth a tread). AIM- Lita Meridia MSN- Zavion_Srath@yahoo.com (that's my Email too).
I don't like signatures, so I'm not making one.

I'd be glad.. Heck, I'll start a new game for the forumites.. I might even start a separate campaign just for the forumites if you want.
Also, Zav's game comes highly reccomended. By me.

Ditto for me on both counts. Guess I can learn DnD now!RandomScribe wrote:Hey, I'd want to play in a DnD game for Umlaut forumites! Let me know if y'all start one...
And speaking of Umlaut House and RPG's, Allan, did you ever get any more work done on that UHRPG you were talking about? I was really interested!

UHRPG: Status Report.
FAILED!
Okay, here's some details. I tried a small collection of new game concepts, like a three-axis alignment score connected to most classes, skill rolls that crank up and down on an almost daily basis, and a set of specialized seduction rolls, but in the end, play-testing killed this concept VERY quickly.
The alignments were irritating and limiting, the skill rolls used up way too much time, and in practice everyone was too annoyed by the system to enjoy the specialized social skill rolls.
Fortunately, there's already an ideal system for playing a UH-flavored RPG. GURPS. Volair is fairly easy to build with GURPS (although he's something like a 150-point character, even WITH the Bisexual, Lecherous and Odius Personal Habit disadvantages), as are the rest of the crew. GURPS lends itself well to a social-interraction-heavy adventure, and is extraordinarily flexible.
I actually have some more manual stuff which is incomplete and jerky, but which will probably go on the UHCD in the "Miscellaneous Non-Comics" section.

Otto's Uncontrollable Lust
Enchantment (Compulsion) [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Brd 6, Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, F
Casting Time: 1 round
Range: Touch/Special
Target: Living creature touched, or all living creatures in 30ft. radius sphere (including the spellcaster)
Duration: 1d4 hours
Saving Throw: Will save negates
Spell Resistance: Yes
The subject feels a staggering lust for sexual activity and will attempt to copulate or perform other sexual acts with any living beings in sight. The spell effect makes it impossible to do anything other than sexual activity; however, beings may have fetishes that allow them to perform certain other actions. These actions are not conscious, however, so, for example, a character who is into BDSM may not attempt to tie up one of the other participants in the spell, but this event could happen at random.
The effect imposes a -4 penalty to Armor Class and a -10 penalty on Reflex saves, and negates bonuses from shields and weapons, which must be dropped. (Exceptions may be made at the DM's discretion for items such as leather whips.) In addition, for every 5 minutes a subject is in thrall of the spell, a cumulative -1 penalty is applied to Will saves, for the duration of the spell.
The caster may, at his, her, or hir option, attempt to cast this spell in one of two ways. The first is to cast it on a single living subject with one touch, and the second is to affect all living creatures within a 30ft. radius of the caster--including the caster. In this second case, the caster may negate all saves against this spell by forgoing his/her/hir own Will save.
Arcane Focus: Any sex toy that has been used in a sexual act by at least one of the beings affected by the spell (for the radius effect, this may be a toy used by the spellcaster).

*reads the spell* Niiice. The arcane focus might be hard to find for the single-target effect, but I guess the radius effect sounds like more fun anyway.
More on (the original) topic, I suffered a massive lapse of judgment and watched the fourth episode of Drawn Together. Although it did have a single funny moment, I can safely say that I never want to watch it again. Ah, what a waste of a clever idea...
--RandomScribe ("Specialized seduction rolls." Heh.)
Aww! 'Tis too bad. It sounds to me that with the amount of number-crunching involved, it'd make a better computer game than a tabletop RPG--though creating a computer game centered on character interaction is a massive challenge itself. Well, maybe instead of DnD or whatever we forumites should start a UH-themed GURPS game. (And "bisexual" is a character disadvantage? Hmph!)allan_ecker wrote:UHRPG: Status Report.

A disadvantage because of the minority status, and the fact that you can be seduced by -either- gender. Bisexuality ain't all fun and roses, y'know.
