Come to think of it, that resulted in one of the best Umbridged Seven moments of all time: "You became SEXUALLY AROUSED in my body." Carried off beautifully, we get this layer-cake of emotions, including umbridge, embarrassment, and even vague nausea.
YES! Moons, yes that was a great episode! I hope it'll be on sometime soon on Sky One's re-runs of Voyager here in the UK, so long as they haven't already gone past it. In which case, I shall have to either buy the full series (That I need to do anyway), or wait for them to show it again.

I prefer the first option.

Still, I have to say that for my title of favourite nerd is a toss-up between Daniel Jackson and Samanther Carter. By the moons, they are just great characters. Daniel who knows so many languages it's scarey and will blindly go towards any group of aliens with a smile and try and figure out how they talk (He learned the Unas' language in what? An afternoon?). And Sam who'll give a scientific analysis on just about anything she comes across, and is adoreable when she refuses to accept any spiritual things in the universe.

Hell, I just have to put Stargate: SG1 up as my all-time favourite thing of........ all-time. It's just.......... great. There was the time that Teal'c got stung by that metamorphisising bug, and then at the end he gave the girl a water cannon, and she instantly sprayed Daniel with it.
Daniel - Are you sure we should have pre-loaded it for her?
Teal'c - How else would she defend herself? *Pulls out a bigger watergun an shoots Daniel with it*

Or on a more serious note, there was the end of the seventh season. The conclusion with what Jack said was just beautiful. So much so that I remember putting it alongside Skies of Arcadia in my mind in terms of great endings.

If there weren't still lots to go in to, I would have liked the series to have ended there and keep such a perfect end. Just like I hope for Skies.

Samantha didn't really do it for me, she may have been just a little too nerdy, she put all of her great intelligence into being scientific, and non of it into wit, I don't remember her ever making a joke, she just seemed... boring.
Daniel on the other hand, I like Daniel, I sort of stopped watching SG-1 when he left, and started again when he came back, I couldn't stand his replacement- what was his name? Jonas I think.
They are not the only nerds in SG-1 though. Jack is actually a closet nerd. I just love it when he corrects people's grammar, it's just funny because he comes across as a bit dumb as he's always asking people to say it without the technical stuff in, and then he's correcting someone.

Ho hum. Halesowen is not too far from Birmingham..... *Passively looks at his atlas, smiling*

*Ahem* A hug? How kind of you. But a virtual Volair Plushie? *Raises an eyebrow* Okay. I guess I'll have to put it on my virtual shelf that I should construct. Hum.

(Trying not to take my kind greeting into this topic too much, I should go back on topic)

You remind me, Mr Coolman, of the part towards the end of the seventh season when there was a meeting with Senator Kinsey and Master Bra'tac.

(Swiped from Gateworld)
Kinsey - Which is why I've taken it upon myself to come down here and see what Mr Bra'tac has to say personally.
Jack - Master Bra'tac. Master.

Hmm. How odd that part was from the first part of season seven's great ending.

Ooh, I've got another one! Mary Bennett from Pride and Prejudice! Okay, I realize that in the actual novel she isn't very interesting or well-developed, but I was in a theatrical adaptation of the book and our Mary was the funniest thing ever. ^^

--RandomScribe, who played Mr. Charles Bingley, of course :P

Dr. Flaux (again, bo idea if that's the right spelling) from Enterprise.
After the Doctor from Voyager, they really had to do something special with this doctor to make him live up to people's expectations and well, I think they did. He has loads of different animals in his sickbay, it's like a zoo or something, he's pretty eccentric really and it's good to see people's reactions to that. What's really great about him though, is his species, Tenobulan (spelling is just a guess again), the whole species is Polyamorous, one of his wives came aboard once and started making advances to Trip, Trip told Flaux, and he was encouraging him to go for it and Trip was like "I'm sorry but I'm not messing around with someone elses wife." Brilliant moment there.

How about the good DR. Katsuragi? Has an affair with the main character's father, is the envy of all the techies there, and oh yeah, she's hot as all hell!! *reels tounge back in*

Way to go hot nerd chick, YEAH!
