Unit Zero Update:

I storyboarded four more pages of Unit Zero today, and with so much desire to get this story out, I can say with a fair degree of confidence that another chapter of Unit Zero will almost immediately follow the color finale.

That's good news, Unit Zero seems neat, almost as good as some comics I read.

UHCD Update:

Should have the color finale done by the end of the summer; it should be airing, ironically enough right before the US national election, literally a vote between a platform stating a permanent gay marriage ban as a goal and a platform that goes "uhh... what do the polls say -right now-?"

In the UHniverse, all this stuff is looked back on in about the same fashon we look at segregation: quietly unsettled disgust.

With the color finale finished, there are about 10 to 12 hours of clerical work involved in creating the UHCD, but since it's clerical work it should take a fair while. However, I'm projecting that the UHCD will be ready "in time for christmas", although the thought of someone getting their very first facefull of Volair on Christmas Morn' scares the living yatta out of me.

Dude... UH is nowhere near as frightening as Yatta.... Trust me. I've seen both.. UH is both better and less mentally scarring...

(For those of you who've never seen the Yatta Video, go google it.. from what I've seen of the forum, you all should live through it ^_^)

Strangely, Yatta has never really disturbed me at all. In fact, it makes me feel happy. I don't know Japanese, but I keep finding myself singing the lyrics without a clue in the world as to their meaning.

Some of it's actually English, but it's not always easy to tell what is what. The dancing, the lights, oh, it's a magical three-minute vacation in a .wmv file!

More amusing, and much more mind bending, is what you can hear in misconstrued english..

Examples include:

G-I-DOUBLE-E-F-LIVES!
We didn't eat-- Q! Q! Q! Q! BUS! BUS! BUS! BUS!
Set your shoe to ping pong
Easy rider salad the mall

Go back and listen to it carefully.. I swear to god it's all there, very clear.

edit: I should read the entire post next time.. the actual english is either mispronounced (world comes out as "wad of dough"), or nonsense ("Looking forward to only eating one calorie!?")

The song's still great if you can get past the grown guys in fig leaf diaper looking things hopping around.. of course, I personally think it's great..

I couldn't let this go without posting a link to Irrational Exuberance.

I don't know where you could have been hiding to not have seen it already though.

Yes, although I noticed all of those things on my own off the real video before seeing it...

It's still a great flash though.

Huh. After I saw the real video, I renounced the flash animation. Upon reviewing it, I see that both are great and full of yatta goodness.

Chillax, and do what you feel you like to do. Let it flow. If you need to take a break and get back better than ever do that.
