I don't know if anyone else here watches angel, incase they do, I wont give any spoilers, but I thought it very interesting that the Angel Finale was shown here yesterday, the same day Umlaut House was due to end; and the ending was basically a restrained, tasteful word of thanks to the show's viewers. Not that I'm complaining though, I don't remember being thanked for watching someone's television show before and I thought it gave it a more personal feel.Rick wrote:Or we could do the right thing-- And end with a restrained, tasteful word of thanks to this comic's readers.
As it happens, I was reasonably impressed with the Final episode, it could have done with being longer, there were certain things I would have liked to have seen more of, but that couldn't have been helped. One part of it was extremely sad, almost bringing me to tears which is something that rarely happens to me and I think it was an ending that was true to the whole of Angel, even though I'd had my doubts about this series after they put Spike in it and changed the theme tune.
