Most touching moments

Post by Nyamaza »

to look up the number of rick's female body, I re-read through some of the archives... and re-encountered some of the most touching moments in comic strip art I've ever seen. Maybe the fact I've had moments akin to these makes them touch me more, but anyway...

I don't know what it is about Allan's way of putting that tear in the corner of hsi character's eyes... but it almost always put's one in mine too.

Hey, wow, thanks!

I've really tried to make Rick's redemption a major theme of this comic; he never was really bad, but he did some very bad things, which we never get into in the comic because it's a light and frivolous comic. One day, I might go into some of the things he got into, but not any time -too- soon.

Rick was already trying to make himself into a better person when Jake came into his life. Jake just gave him a reason to stay that way. And, to make a somewhat Unicorn Jelly comment, Jake has done the world a serious favor, a great service, simply by loving and caring for one person. I think caring for someone always helps everyone in the end.

Tell Adolf Hitler's mother that.

Or Eva Braun.

OTOH Despite being in something of a downer of a mood right now I still tend to agree that it is possible to do the world a favor by just caring for someone. The fact is, we suffer from the curse of the good IT person. We only really notice what's broken, when things go well we don't even see them.

This is my second edit of this post, I was trying to make it more upbeat. I don't really think I managed as well as I would have liked. :-?
Mad Scientist. Generally quite seriously Miffed Engineer.
