But was it well played? Was this the kind of impression we should have of Taro since this is the fourth appearance of him in the comic? I dunno' about this portrayal of homo ass-zombie in the shower room played by Taro other than I found it disturbing. Should I try to read into this being less about Taro's mindset and more about the power of Collin's hypnotic sphincter? >.< Great, now I got the jibblies.

Again with the Poop art in a questionable installment. Jeff-kun may have said to the contrary, but I can't help thinking there's a connection between the art and the content.

I'm inclined to agree with you this time Andrick. There's something really not right about that comic.

Note I used the rolling eye thingy, this comic seemed to be ozzing with stereotypical assumptions, the likes of which I would not expect Jeff to use. With Jeff pretty much dangling the script to the comic page out in the yahoo group with no blocking references pretty much leaves the illustrator to arrange things however they deem fit. The fact that this was the *best* (most likely the only as well) rendition of the script leads me to believe that Jeff is kind of flaking off the whole comic. I've noticed that his demeanor in his LJ has changed drasticaly in the last couple of months; whatever the cause he doesn't seem to show much concern for his comic as he did 6 months ago, so this may be an indication that the closetcoon comic may soon cease being written or even illustrated by Jeff himself.

Uh, do I want to know what that means?

Micro_fur - Down with stereotypes! They are the tool of the Devil!

You don't know about The Jibblies? How can you not know about The Jibblies.

As for Jeff... sometimes people get to that point where it is more going through the motions instead of being carried by that initial eager enthusiasm when starting a project. This is a better explanation for what has been shown recently as compared to what came before.

Speaking of jibblies, what's the connection between you, Medieval Pete and the 'Untitled!' comic?. . .*POP* God it just made sense! *HWARGTHP* Oog, damn Strongback's bottom #1. . .

Congratulations Andrick, the slew rate of your personality has made me sick to my stomach, a feat hardly anyone manages to accomplish.

*COOCKOO CLOCK* #52 Up! Somewhat redeeming quality on Poop's behalf, still I miss Jeff's style.

This one confuses me. But at least it's marginally cute.

When will Jeff bless us again with his godly art, when?

This comic sets off every "OMG Love Tree RUN!" alarm in my brain.

And you'd be surprised how many of them I have.

I'm with you, Allan; I have no idea why Colin would respond to Taro's declaration of being attracted to him by offering to introduce Aiden to the big guy. Taro's been behaving in a creepy manner since he met Colin. Introducing a person so obviously desperate for companionship to one's own hopefully significant other is... dumb.

I didn't read it that way at all. To me, it just seemed like Colin was trying to comfort the big guy by introducing him to someone Colin cares about. Kind of a networking thing, since maybe Aiden knows some other eligible bachelors.

Then again, I could be reading too much into it.

But Colin also knows Rodney and the fox knows the part that the coyote played in hooking up Aiden with himself. What should also be fersh in Colin's mind is Taro's reading from the script "Attack of the Ass Zombies" and loss of dick control when Colin was retrieving his soap. Colin certainly did not look fooled when Taro offered up his weak excuse for his words, though I will concede that Colin hasn't been noticing the amount of attention that Taro has been giving him. Still, from first to last impression, is this somebody you would want to introduce to someone you want to date?

Perhaps Colin's actually a good deal sneakier than we thought, and is planning on having Aiden hook Taro up with Duma.

Just a thought.

Hm.. Jeff seems to be getting a little more brusque with his writing as of late.. Most of his recent gags are kinda, ah, blunt..

I hope he's alright.. I know my sense of humor gets kinda dark and mean when I'm feeling pretty poor, and I hope Jeff isn't in a similar situation.
