It is not Volair's fault. It's not Volair's fault. It is not Volair's fault. It's not... I just can't work my mind around that so I'm going to drop it for right now.

Oh Saundra, Saundra, Saundra. What a fool you've let yourself become. Asking Volair for a list of places and not even inquiring about them. And then she confides this information with a stranger who knows Volair. Oh well, I guess desperation does do that to people.

...Volair isn't to blame...I still can't believe that.

Saundra's primary character flaw is her inability to stay a step ahead in social situations or keep track of what, socially, is and isn't a good idea. This is mostly because she is not in command of her emotions. (Note to Karla: this trait is taken from ME, not you.)
What I mean by "command" is ones ability to know why one feels something, and use one's rational judgement to act in a way opposing one's emotions as needed. Saundra, like I, often makes mistakes in this area. She let Volair move in because she was attracted to him, even though she consciously thought she was doing this to ensure a rapid roomie changover. Saundra asked Volair for a club list because she wanted adventure, not just a man. She wanted something crazy to happen to her. She wanted madness and excitement. It's just too bad that the excitement turned out to be of a variety incompatible with her tastes.

And it's still pretty damn funny.

Kudos, Allan!

[EDIT: Darn smileys won't convert. ]

Out of curiousity....what name does the club have Saundra visited now?

And when we're already at it, what stood on Voliars list?
And which town they're living in again?

Well, just because:

The name is "Women and Men", an old TMBG reference.
Volair's list had lots of places on it, and lots of them had names like "The Pink Flamingo", etc.
And they're in Seattle, WA

And NO, I don't know if any of those places really exist, except for that last one, because I live there.

Allan, were you proud when, in Wargames, the lines "Where should we nuke next?" "Seattle!" appeared?
