I like the one...
"Gay themed" in the same sense that the Rocky Horror Picture Show is about a couple looking for a new tire.
-or-
Umlaut House. Sex and science, two great tastes that go great together.

Now, I really LIKE my old tag line.
But there is one small problem:
IT HAS ABSOLOUTELY NOTHING WHATSOEVER TO DO WITH WHAT THE STORY IS ABOUT!!! AT ALL! NOT EVEN A LITTLE BIT!!!
So, I'm posting a list of candidates and asking for new candidates and just generally going to you, the viewers, hat-in-hand, looking for a new tagline.
The candidates:
You know, a surprizing number of nerds in this world just happen to be bisexual...
It's a comic about people who aren't straight, but other stuff actually happens!
"Gay themed" in the same sense that the Rocky Horror Picture Show is about a couple looking for a new tire.
"Wackiness Ensues" does not BEGIN to describe it.
Because "Will and Grace" doesn't have mad scientists.
The 99.9% Angst-free GBLT comic! With mad science!
Where the straight-men are women, and the main characters are the not-straight men.
Because Dr. Frankenstein never said, "ACTIVATE THE GENDER-BENDER RAY!!!"
I am not "In search of a theme"! I just have plot committment issues.
Additional sugguestions and votes as to who becomes a finalist are welcome!

-activate Gary Owens voice-
Absoloutely Boffo, Alfador! We'll be casting you as a dimensional traveler, of course, since you've got one, two, count 'em, three tails!
-deactivate Gary Owens voice-
I like the Gary Owens tagline. It would be perfect if we could somehow instantaneously get full audio of Gary Owens saying it onto a new viewer's machine so that he could say it just before everything else loads.

I came up with another one. It works best if you imagine Gary Owens reading it.

We'll be casting you as a dimensional traveler, of course, ...

Naturally. The way I've always envisioned dimension traveling for Alfador, is as a kind of training mission, given by my Sensei (whoever that might be at the time). Alfador goes to another dimension, where he must find an object, device, spell, person, or whatever, that enables him to jump dimensions again. Then he goes to another dimension. Repeat three or four dozen times, till he finds his way back to his home dimension. Bear in mind that these dimensions could be anything from online comic universes, to slightly different versions of universes found in sci-fi or fantasy novels (or story universes), to console RPGs, to universes SIMILAR to console RPGs, to "parallels" which are universes largely similar to his original "home." (RL is a "parallel"...or is Alfador's home a "parallel" for us? ... )
This, of course, means that Alfador can be in a universe for as long as it takes to find the item necessary for further travel. He could have been in the UH universe for years, or even decades, prior to finding himself in a storyline, or he could literally drop in in the middle of things. (Darn altitude differences!) He could find the portal-widget amongst Rick's lab stuff, or remain in the UH universe for long after the storyline.
I dreamt this up a while back simply as a way to make Alfador's journeys universe- and time-flexible, so that cameos would only be out of the question if the cameo-er or cameo-ee did not wish it so.
If you want any more information for storyline purposes, or have any questions, just ask.
PLEASE NOTE! If you weren't entirely serious about having Alfador cameo in Umlaut House, or if you find it won't work out, I will NOT be offended or upset. As far as I know, the offer could have been completely serious, or it could have been in jest. Whichever, I give full approval. And just to reassure you, if you do cast Alfador in a storyline, I won't pester you constantly "When's it gonna post? When's it gonna post???" or similar. Some others might do that. I don't want to annoy you, O Wise Comic Strip Creator.
Spoony yiffing smeg it, I need to post some sketches or something. Aside from the Uplink story a week or so back, I haven't done much on my website lately. Uh...yeeeah. ...
------------------

Well, I'm semi-quasi-not-exactly-but-maybe-depending-on-god-only-knows-how-many-factors serious. Alfador is pretty interesting, though. Maybe I'll use him the way SJ used that polar bear fellow...
But I digress. If I do decide to use Alfador as a character (or anyone else, for that matter) It'll be about three months between me drawing the strips and it airing anyway.
Now, if we could pull this topic just a little bit back...
So far, my personal favorite tag line is the Rocky Horror one, if only because fans of Rocky Horror are almost garanteed (probability estimated at 91.3%) to like Umlaut House.

Just remember to have Volair come by and ice everyone down gently before reading the strip just to be safe. Erm, um, yeah. I mean you wouldn't want to be responsible for anyone's unfortunate immolation, would you?

You can't let Volair "ice people down gently"! Do you have any idea how much FARTHER he'd take something like that?
...
But then again, these are ROCKY HORROR fans we're talking about here...
