Because TOS sent me a printer! Yaaay!
Of course now I need teeshirt ideas. Here are the basic formats I'm considering:
Character shirts:
You just get a logo on the front, pocket style, and a picture of a character on the back, with as high quality as I am capable of rendering. Sure to get you asked "What's Umlaut House," but equally sure not to get you laughs.
Gags:
One panels, which might draw a few askance looks, and most people probably won't get the joke. However, if by some HUGE COINCIDENCE you bump into someone else who likes the strip, you'll have instant recognition and off-the-chart delta-i bliss-out.
Cast shots:
These are the hardest to compose, yet the best likely candidates. I've got one penciled with Volair, Jake, and Saundra that looks good, but the one I did with Rick added looks too sparce. Any effort I make to cram the characters closer together looks lame. Any sugguestions on composition would be greatly appreciated.
Sugguestions, comments?
These sugguestions WILL effect what I do with the teeshirt art!

The ideas mentioned in this thread would be a great start to take into considering.

well I don't know,
A T-shirt like the ones I suggested I might only get the chance to wear once a year. and if I was lucky I wouldn't be wearing it for very long that day either...
so I am a big fan of Gags:
One panels, which might draw a few askance looks, and most people probably won't get the joke.
One I live in eternal hope, and 2: Subtext!
It's all in the subtext baby!

I can guess what "one time of year" it would be to wear the suggested shirt (at least for me). A furry convention! Specifically, Conifur Northwest! (Specifically that one because it's the only one I know I can get to--it's in Washington. Western Washington at that!)
------------------

On further consideration, Alfador's right.
In addition to that one day a year; I'd also wear a totally sick and evil UH t-shirt to TorontoTrek or pobably any sf con. Any furry con too, if it went *really* well I might end up running for my life from all the rabid Jack fans.
I'd prolly also wear it at anything that TruePisces wore her Two Succubus t-shirt to.
Now about subtext... well I'd say I want a t-shirt my dad wouldn't get, but that's not asking much.
Subtext, a certain glint in Volair's eye,
the lay of his ears, the turn of a phrase-
Naughty but most people wouldn't realise it.

Oh, I see. Subtext, as in you've got a teeshirt that shows the cast, but most people won't know Volair well enough to know that that look on his face means somebody's in for a jolly good rodgering.
Hmm.... Promising... but it needs more...
I'll have to create one innocent situation, and then overlay it with a totally un-innocent situation somehow...

Haven't seen any of these on eBay, either current or ended auctions.
Or elsewhere on the interweb, for that matter.
