A: The dorm crew is breaking up and finding their own paths, of course its gonna be a downer!

Q: Why is it noone is interested in the questions or discussions about character driven elements of the story as represented by a few threads about Rick and Saundra? Doesn't anyone have an opinion about them?

A: I'm interested; I just haven't had anything to add to the discussions lately.

Q: Is Rick going to get in trouble for his good-guy tendancies lately?

(Edit: I'm going to score that as "What music they *play*" and assume that my premature post is still in the flow. And it was sweet of you to look that up.)

A:

Jake thinks Jessica Simpson is god. He even dances when he listens to her, although he doesn't do so in public.

Saundra loves Queen. Loves it loves it loves it.

Volair is a big fan of classic old-time greats like Aretha Franklyn, Buddy Holly, and of course, Elvis.

Rick likes Wagner, worships Beethoven, and goes into proxysms of ecstacy over Stravinsky.

Cal of course is a They Might Be Giants fan, and Amanda likes Moxy Fruvous.

Q: Is anyone surprized by... ANY of this?

A: I rather thought Rick to be one of the progressive listeners of classical music. Wagner, yes, but more Orff than Beethoven and possibly a follower of contemporary composers such as Poledouris. And if Cal likes TNBG then he sure acts like he's never listened to the lyrics; he's freaked over things TMBG has actually composed songs about.

Q: Is it not GLORIOUS!

Q: Would it be extreme of me to boycott these forum games until people start responding to the more serious threads or start posting up some provacative threads of their own seeing as how that other section of this forum is absolutely neglected?

A: I suppose a round with our current president would do nicely. :)

Q: Aren't most of the serious threads stagnant?

by Andrick
A: But they shouldn't be!

Q: Cal screwed up his courage a while back to ask Saundra out and was intercepted by Volair. Saundra, meanwhile, unwittingly blocked Volair from his real date that evening. Will these two ever unravel what went wrong that night?

A: No. But that won't keep them from getting together... at least someday, at least for a little while.

Q: What is the best story-driven adventure video game out there for a PC?

Posted: Tue Nov 12, 2002 3:33 am
by Andrick
A: Myst. It is a story immersion game whose premise is that you find a book... and it goes from there. Hard to believe the game is ten years old already.

Q: Does anybody dispute my claim with another candidate?
