A: Golden Blue (I'm not sure if this is a real color (or colour, for those likign that spellign better), but it sure sounds nifty!)
Q: Can't we all just get along?

A: Given the response to that PVP jab, no.
Q: Is it a bad thing that EvilCon is more closely modled after my own experience with University Job Fairs than after sci-fi/furry conventions, or does the offbeat, tech-fair-except-eviler flavor satisfy?

A: *blink, blink* What on God's green earth are you talking about? From what little of EvilCon you've shown, I've seen nothing to infer that a convention is going on at all. Everything that happened so far I just assumed was in the hotel hallways as random encounters. No seminars, no booths, no bulletin boards, no PA announcements, no slackers attempting to sleep in the conference rooms, no overpriced food, no hawkers, no booth babes... where's the convention? I guess the answer is "no" to your question.
Q: Do you think that was too harsh?

A: -reads back through the strips-
Awww, Jeez. I didn't do an establishing shot! MAN I suck.
So, no, I guess that wasn't too harsh at all. Although you should've been tipped off by the parking strip and Jake's quip about it being "some convention".
Luckily, there ARE establishing sots in this series, so you will get to see some real atmosphere soon.
Q: How shall I make amends?

A: I have a suggestion, but it would involve an awful lot of time and travel, and certain significant others might object.
Q: Anyone else have a more practical, attainable, cheaper and comic-based suggestion not illegal in 21 States?

A: Uhm...
hhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm.................
::ponderment::
Nope. no I don't.
So how 'bout we go with that first option.
Q: Would Dr. Mu's shrink ray, whatever it's called; be a synonym for fellatio? ie: The art of making a big man small.[/i]

A: ... I'm not going to touch that with a 10' pole.
A (Question two posts back): Forget establishing shots. How about some backgrounds? Clutter in the backfield, cameos of evil masterminds and googaws of science gone wrong can do much to make the convention seem "real". Take a look at what Eric has done to do the same thing
here in his own comic. Even though he did do an
establishing shot for an earlier convention in a previous story arc. Both conventions in his story had lotsa people to fill in the background, mostly non-descript but a few characters were filled out. C'mon, you've been to cons. They're noisy, crowded and people are busy looking for ideas or trying to drown out others in selling theirs to the densest population of prospective takers they'll see in a year's time or longer.
Q: Is there any relation to
EvilCon '00?

Could be! The Grin Bros. Evilcon looks like the kind of exclusive, high-class membership groups that eventually expands after 27 or so years into a con that will let anyone in.
Q: Who thinks Andrick should get a flogging? Who would like to help? Who will buy the vid afterwards?

A: Flog him! Flog him with a sheaf of partially cooked pasta!
Q: I am being silly and random. Is there such a thing as being too silly and/or random?
Posted: Tue Oct 08, 2002 1:32 am
by Andrick
A: Yes there is, but thankfully you're not there... yet.
Q: Did you realize there was a smilie for flogging?

A: No
Q: Will Jake ever learn to relax and just follow life's flow? and is Volair helping or hindering him learn that lesson?
Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2002 7:24 pm
by Andrick
A: Volair is definitely hindering Jake in going with the flow, but in all fairness to Jake, the current flow is a rather extreme contortion of what would pass for regular.
Q: Are we gonna see Liz again anytime soon?
Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2002 7:32 pm
by Allan_ecker
A: Yes.
Q: Are y'all mad at me for spoiling the surprize?
Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2002 7:43 pm
by Nyamaza
A: No. She's Volair's partner... er, co-worker. So the next time the spy stuff came up, we'd see her!
Q: I know I let myself go a bit around you guys (hey, I feel comfy on this forum), but do the other posters really think I'm a sicko?

A: nah man, you fight RIGHT in.
Q: if
this is what the hyper-tourettes is doing to our normaly conservetive Saundra, what is it doing to Volair?? (and no 'waiting-untill-the-comic-is-updated-and-we-all-know' so you can guess right.... thats just wrong)

by ZOMBIE USER 12536
A: I really don't think Volair's uninhibited enough for the Hyper-Tourette's to cause a noticeable change...
Q: Is drawing a comic "South Park" style grounds for public execution or flogging? (More on this later...)

A: Naw. You have to do something...else...MWAHAHA!
Q: <stupid question>Do I have a dirty mind?</stupid question>

A) Depends on who you're using for reference purposes. I'm sure if you try hard enough you can find a reference point which makes your musings look completely innocent by comparison
q) What the strangest Halloween custom?

A: A comma.
Q: SO whatever DID end up happening to the guard's nightstick?
