Well, it certainly has been a while since last correspondence. I'm sure you have guessed by the name who I am in an instant, and if you haven't, please don't hesitate to hit yourself in the head with a block of cheese.
All of this aside, I, (Aside to reading audience, and yes I notice the redundancy-- live with it) as a both a critic and admirer of your written work, have said but little on these 3-4 panel escapades which grace the 'net twice weekly. I give the verdict now: Umlaut house ROCKZ!....
ahem.
I will not in this case offer criticism, as my expertise lies not on the paneled page but the gilded one, and it would not be appropriate for one such as me to offer my lay opinion to a man of practice.
...
Enough about you, let's talk about me.
I am currently employed in a sushi bar.
I just got published in the Starry Night Review (online--but I'll give anyone a [figurative] brownie if you can find that ezine, as it seems to be locked in the abyss where no search engines can reach).
And my novel, well, nothing since the last installment I gave for your perusal. I vowed to finish it by the end of summer, but time seems to be a scant commodity these days.
And to answer your question as to why I would write a public letter, well, because it's different, and EVERYONE can see.
Now let me think...something embarrassing about Allan that I can reveal to the world.
hmm... nope. Nothing that he wouldn't be proud of.
And, furthermore, nothing his fans wouldn't admire him for.
I hope you all take that as a compliment. I'm sure you all will.
Good, good, well... carry on then Sir Ecker, can't wait to see what surprises you have in store for us next.
Farewell for now, and hopefully for later.
The very mysterious person
PS. Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty for a post-script. But a letter seems rather naked without one, and we must keep a modicum of decency around here.

Dude! There's a RyuTAh on the Forum! There's a RyuTAh on the Forum!
Ahem. Nice to recieve a review from one of the writers I admire. Especially a positive one.
Positive reviews are good.
Me, I'm busy designing diagnostic tools for Mixed Signal testing equipment, and building up a backlog that can hold me through my school year and hopefully propell me into the working world.
But somehow I think I'm stuck with school until my doctorate. Yaaay! Snobbery here we come!
And I was going to reward TDS for his astute discovery of the identity associated with the identifier "V-guy" by posting an image of Saundra in a red teddy and stockings, but the thread got eaten.
Oh well.
