How do you advertise for your webcomic?

I suppose that's one way to drop a link <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"><P>Another would be to include it in your sig, and make mention that one of the links (lets just say for a hypothetical situation, the one going to <A HREF="http://www.lethaldeath.com" TARGET=_blank>Lethal Death</A> ) contains a couple regular comics, as well as a lot of other areas of the site to peruse.<P>You know... because it's a hypothetical situation and all... <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif"><P>. . .<P>Silly me. I thought these were the Keenspot forums... didn't realize there were two different UBB's setup. *sigh* Guess this makes post #1.<P>So, I guess this is an official "Hey, I'm new. What up?!" post. The Joester is right. It wasn't until other comics (Stubble, RPG World) advertised my comic that my readership really went through the roof, comparatively speaking.<P>However, don't be obnoxious about getting your comic "out there". Begging people to click links and begging other comickers for a plug is fast way for you to be tagged as the "annoying new kid". (Then again, that goes for any website advertising, be it comic, site, or board adverts.)<P>------------------
