Josh, what kinda thing to do you use to put the text bubbles in? (or do with draw them in yourself?)

yo josh, i was just curious, how do you create your comics? like, how do you color it etc...

I draw a four panel template, and then make xerox copies of that. With that, they panels will always be the same size.<P>Next I draw in pencil what I want. If it's good, I go on, if it's bad I chuck it and start over.<P>I take out a light box and go over the characters with my graphic pen.<P>When everything is ok, I scan it with a black and white drawing setting (not a black and white photo).<P>In photoshop, I color it in, try to fix a few things up (even though I really don't), and arrange things the way I want it, if it's not good enough yet.<P>Then I send the file to illustrator and add the text and word bubbles.<P>I send it back to photoshop and save the file as a .gif <P>I upload it, and I'm set to go.

It differs. Right now I'm using a Pigma graphic pen.<P>Every graphic pen I've used has really good ink, but they dry out too fast!

gidiup, thanx josh. i draw my comics pretty good but when i get to da computer stage iz like damm! and it sorta dies, pretty painfully actually.
mabye i'll have better luck next time.
