Just something i didn't understand???
Why 3/4 of the keenspace and keenspot comic strips are drawing like the "Manga style"
Where's the originality and the identity???
Then, why i don't draw like South Park??? maybe i could be more popular... PFFF!
------------------

Yeah... there are a lot of strips which use the "manga style".
And then there are other strips which use a mmore "non-manga style".
And then there are strips like mine, which use "no style".
I don't know why that manga stuff is so popular... maybe because the artists are fans of the anime stuff... or maybe it's relatively easy to draw (really, I don't know.)
But heck... the style is rarely the major point... you have to have content. There are very few strips out there that get any readers without being at least moderately funny, or having at least moderately good plots... lousy art won't make or break a strip by itself. (I keep telling myself this... I think I'm starting toi be reassured.)
In any event, you have nothing to worry about. Your strip is plenty well-drawn, and frequently funny... the once-a-week schedule is a bit rough, though... oh well, I suppose a constant weekly schedule is better than getting a strip out about once a week while claiming that the strip is three-a-week, and then vanishing for over a month, which is what I did my first couple months. Keep up the work... it'll be rewarded with time.
--tmk
Forsooth! at http://forsooth.keenspace.com -- wacky college students and a big wooden dog.

It's the flavor of the day.
I like the fact that it encourages clean drawing.
Before Japan style drawing was cool, kids were drawing alot sketchier.
------------------
