Don't mess with Sparta. Watch:
Your ass is mine, Socrates!
Get back! Yield! Yield!
The Crash Pad-- It's Too Late For Helmets.
The big question is... Once you've had weasel sticks, can you ever go back?

Thank you, Pengolodh!
I'm something of a wannabe author, in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. That information on nobility titles could come in handy. Thanks. Want a citation, if I ever manage to get anything published?
Andrick, btw, what language is Gloria's sig in?
Joe: They have the same song in Dutch.
Mijn hoed die had drie punten,
Drie punten had mijn hoed.
En had mijn hoed niet drie punten,
Dan was het niet mijn hoed.
And we have another recaptioning from Devon. I remember that scene. It's strange how well he makes something funny out of what was a very serious scene originally. I'm not sure whether I'll ever be able to take the dragon seriously again.

Why are canines called canines when feline canines are bigger than canine canines?
Fear the dragon for one day it will be a California roll on Barbara Streisand's breakfast menu and she'll have sustenance to plague us for one more day.
*cough* Uh, yeah, that would be spanish, the most common language in Los Angeles county.

Thank you honestly for all the praise. As far as the world dictator thing... I don't think ANYONE here is serious about it. I don't think *I* could ever or would ever want to rule the world, by far!
The sig line is in Spanish yes. Tobi you're ALMOST right. Don't tell me you people don't know what zorra means? Recall El Zorro!

Re: Thank you, Pengolodh!
Glad to be of help. No crediting is necessary as far as I'm concerned - this is just knowledge I amassed through gathering background-information for roleplaying-game characters.htg wrote:I'm something of a wannabe author, in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. *bites his tongue and smiles*
And you're saying that Zorro really just gave RICE to the poor? Why just rice? And why did the evil Governor need so much rice? Was he planning on importing cheap Chinese labor to complete his transcontinental railroad?

Seriously, Devon, you are one of the most UNserious people I know, when you desire to be; these comics are by far the funniest things I have seen in ages. And htg as an excellent point: You have a knack for finding humor to fit the grimmest of situations. In MY experience, this is a quality shared by people with great personal fortitude and the ability to survive and even thrive in harsh conditions... But for the here and now, thanks for putting out such great stuff!
And thanks to Gloria, for letting him take such liberties with your art... Chop chop chop, indeed!

[quote="Gloria"]we could probably go places, you know. I mean, let's face it, I'm not very funny. And you're not a great artist (at least not in the area of freehand drawing. I actually think you've got a VERY good eye and mind for it, and I've seen what you can do with PS)...

Reminds me of a quote from a comedy series here
"Well I cant iron, and you cant fix things? Together we could do anything...we could...fix an iron!"
lol
btw devon i like the bond-ish quote
"no i expect you to die!"
