I voted "SLOW CHILDREN" because it's an important thing to advertise, so recruiters know to stay clear.

I chose Hidden Entrance because those are the best kind.

But, actually, I was born under the sign of the goat... Or, I would have been, if the goat hadn't eaten the sign.

Or, if you want to use the Chinese zodiac, I was born in the year of the Rabbit if you use our calender and the year of the Tiger if you use theirs.

Maybe I'd better stop now before I get even more confuzzled than I usually am.

You left out the middle line : "Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind."
:)

Would you believe that my father sings background vocals on the recording you are listening to of that very song?

Thanks, Eric. I guess I was more confuzzled than I thought I was.

And that's a nifty bit of trivia to know, Ironpaw :)

Then again, I really like nifty bits of trivia, but that's just me.

I too had to go with the Hidden Entrance, for you can't always tell where I am, where I'm going, or when I'm going to pop up next.

Hear Hear!

Is that really a title, and where can I find it?

I think I just made the reference up, but as all-encompassing as that book series is, it wouldn't surprise me if it did exist! If/when there is a book, that'll be covered in the first chapter. Chapter 2 will cover how to be alert to your surroundings, and how just pretending to be alert to your surroundings can be good enough.

Events last year will force a rewrite of many of the subsequent chapters, but if I manage to remember any more of the basics, I'll let you know. I'm about due for a refresher anyway...

Ack, I'll probably know who you're talking about once you say his name, but who's HPL? I feel dumb.

H.P. Lovecraft.

Personally, I don't read horror... If I want that I'll turn on the news... more frightening because it's real...

terrified children
walking horrors shambling death
news at eleven

Horror rocks....of course, Im an odd one- haven't seen much good horror...it all makes me laugh, some creeps me out and scares me, thats good, but I laugh too much during horror movies for peeps to sit near me comf-icly(I can't spell, my mind freezes on that word, blee..)....and then Im not allowed to really -stay- near the horror novels...Col complains that it gives me ideas to add to her nightmares....*'innoccent-evil' grin*
