The shoes look similar to the shoes he was last seen wearing sitting on the park bench on June 2nd .

If only this comic were in color! Those shoes are similar, scarily so, and those are also similar jeans. I hope beyond hope that Xe hasn't been injured. After all, shoes of that style are rather common.....

I wonder if this will develop into an "I Know What You Did Last Storyline" type situation, with Xe wreaking bloody vengeance upon the Untitled! cast members who hit him and left him for dead.

True, true. The parrallels that could come of this situation are brilliant, ie perhaps Twap will mimic the actions of Xe while she was in his situation. If it even is Xe. If the owner of the feet is even alive. (of course, it seemed like Misha was dead. . . )

Well... consider what Xe's been going through... I'd kind of understand why he might be in a testy mood.

I mean, the one he loves (well, one of 'em) dumps him, at least as far as he perceives (I'm still clinging to that ambiguity), he spends the night out (I can only presume...or maybe he went back inside and talked to Ciaran, which is why he's over at Twap's now), and then gets hit by a car.

Nowhere in here was "Xe took his happy pills." Maybe that's the problem.

Why would I deck you for that? I think Xe's a pretty dedicated and gutsy guy, but I don't think being a jerk is getting a backbone. He DID just get slammed into by apollo and though he no doubt drives like a grandmother, I'm sure it still hurt like a... yeah, really hurt. ; ) And the last thing he needs is Erin trying to weasel painful memories out of him. It may also have jarred some memories, so... we'll see, eh? It does seem a tad bit out of character for Xe though.

Apollo was driving slowly and braked right away. His car probably only tapped Xe. I've had that happen before, I was more surprised than hurt. Notice that Xe's shoes are still on. A severe hit would have taken those right off.

And his socks, too. Part of cartoon physics. We observe the subject was knocked upside-down at the moment of collision, so they seem to be in effect here.
