One question, though: when's the final deadline for submissions? (It shouldn't matter, as I ought to just get on with it tomorrow, but I know myself too well to believe I will without a little pressure.)

Okay, guys. Sorry bout that.
The deadline won't be untilabout the 31st, when I get back. The strips will actually run a couple weeks from now. That should give you ample time!!
