I like visceral words in those kind of things, bile, blood, clot, and why do so many of them start "And lo"

Which only leads me to wonder if the ancients did indeed see the future, what would they have made of it, could their predictions have been based on a popular movie? Could have Nostrodomus (sp) end-world prophecy been a simple game of risk. "yes and the king of the blue shall meet the Lord of Green in, but lo, he shall both north america and south america and what a force they shall form, next turn"

Ultimately I must say, Meh.

I have this sudden urge to start an anti-religion zealot rant... But I'll refrain.

Truth be told I always thought Prophecies to be absurd. I mean it is like reading someones fortune. A lot of vaque words that could be interperated a dozen ways.

Yeah, I'll give you some infromation.
I was the one in Sunday school when I was little with all the questions that the teachers couldn't answer. I've always had a problem with thinking there's a high God or something. I'm sorry, but that's how I am. It's just- I'm looking for a sign, something there that will tell me so I'm sure. I beliveve in things that are there, not prophesies and stuff.

The answers to the right questions are never found in a class. Nothing easily gained is worthwhile, and in faith there is always an element of doubt.

Can I ask what it is specifically that you disagree with when it comes to God? I mean, is it the Sunday School concept and view of God, or just the idea of a being that is above us or has power over us? When you say

The first life on this planet was a little flower. From the flower came a seed. And from that seed came life. That little life grew into a tree of immense strength that understood. Understood and acknowledged it all. From the flowers on its great branches came all the animals that have ever walked the earth, from the tiny kangaroo rat (heh!) to the great dinosaurs. The humans were the last to come. And now the trees are being cut down.

Okay I made that up just now. So sue me. Go figure. ^_~

Well, I'm sorta like, "I'll see it then believe it." Plus, I can't really believe in the idea that there's someone watching everyone and everything.

See it and believe huh? Don't you see how limited that sense is? Open your mind! Realize the totality that you are! You are not just an individual, you are everything and an individual at once! You are all possiblities! The weres, the ares and the will be could bes in a moment of relative time!

Or just be yourself. Whatever's easiest I guess. ; )

Preacher, issue uh, gee the one where Jessie loses his eye. Heh, sick.

As for limited perception I am me and that is fine for now anything else is too close to conceit. Endless possiblites? Could be. A vast organism of human minds expanding across the globe? Meh. a sixth sense? I saw that movie. Seriously it all goes back to making the best decisions to the best of my senses. What does it matter that I am being constantly swarmed by bacteria? Sure I could die from it but the level of conciousness in singled celled organisms is something that I have discarded as being irrelevant to my current happiness. And dont construe this as me putting my head in the sand, after all I am considering these things, I am just not conceited enough to believe that I would understand them.

Well that shut me up! : )

I am being a preacher and I'm also being conceited. These are not things that I am proud of being. So I think I shall quietly listen to the thoughts and ideas of others instead of spewing them out as if I had an abundance and they are all good.

Thank you all for teaching me this vital lesson. Frankly I am sick of myself anyway and its about time I change.

As for being conceited, I dont know if you are. You certainly are very agreeable with what people say. If I was to give any advice it would be not to gush so much and ease back on the philosophy. As for you not liking yourself, well not much I can do. You have not offended me in any way, nor could you. Feel comfortable saying what's on your mind, I do.

Well, y'see, I'm like, really open-minded when it comes to people. I can get along with lots of people. I just have a bad time thinking of someone watching me 24/7.

A friend of mine told me that she was aggravated with herself because her head was stuck "in the clouds" most of the time. At first I thought she was being hard on herself and couldn't understand what was so aggravating about it.

Now I'm beginning to see that when I spend all my time trying to figure out what "really is going on" based on speculation, I'm missing out on what's really going on! And that's aggravating to me.

It's fun to daydream, but too much daydreaming is, I think, unhealthy. There is so much happening in the world right now that is just as wonderful as what my imagination could come up with and I should do reality a service and appreciate it once in awhile.

50% of my life is spent in my dreamworld. I am a hopeless case of dreamer. Honestly. I am a good writer though. I got my stuff shown to a local writer who has published children's books when I was in fourth grade. She said I have definite talent and I got to eat lunch with her and I also got an autographed cpoy of her latest book. when I get old enough, I'm going to major in journalism and I'm going to work for a travel magazine, traveling and critiquing hotels and spas worldwide. If that doesn't work, then I'm going to be a massage therapist or massuese or whatever you call it. Honestly.
