HA HA HA!
SKA ROCKS!
Glad to hear you had a great time! (as well as not getting hurt in the pits)
Look forward to seeing you at Cornerstone IF I can get there this coming year too. It's really worth all the effort though.

i'm SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!
saturday i went to my first ever ska/punk concert! it was an outdoor festival in East Town, Grand Rapids (Michigan). it was great! i was stepped on, almost kicked in the face, almost elbowed in the head, and my glasses were half of my face. i was sweaty and hot, and about to puke from exhaustion. it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want to do it again!
the bands i saw that were note worthy:
19 Wheels - too early in the day for there to be lots of people or jumping around. and not really ska/punk. but they really are AWESOME!!!!!!
Mustard Plug - the big event. where all the teens came pouring in from the streets and alleys. i weaved my way up front and got to be in the ska pits. some dudes formed a circle for people to do their moves. the guy pointed at me to jump in, and i did, but jumped out in 4 seconds. i felt really stupid but no one laughed at me or boo'ed, so it was all fun and good!
i am just.....god. so happy! i finally found something where i can have fun! and i havent had fun in a looong time!
Mustard Plug is gonna come back in november.
and Five Iron Frenzy is gonna be here mid-october. so i'm gonna BEG my parents for a ride.
btw, anyone here from Michigan that i might possibly run into?
now i'm so psyched about Cornerstone, i HAVE to find someone to take me.
[This message has been edited by Anillennium (edited 10-01-2001).]
