Man, this place is pretty busy...

Not everyone has a comic based on a novel and a series of short stories, either. *snicker* If I don't know, I'll ask the characters. Some times, they even decide to reply.<P>

... for only having two posters! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif"><P>Very nice comic strip you have going on! Judging by the sheer amount of information you convey in your posts to this board alone, it's obvious you've put in quite an effort "behind the scenes" just for the comic alone! I only wish I had that kind of incentive. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"><P>W4E!

Silly Eric!<P>If time ceases so that you can't take the bus, you can walk all the way, and still be in time, since no time will pass, right?<P>

On the other hand, the bus would probably never actually arrive at the terminal.
What's a horse like me doing running after a grey hound, anyways? It's not like fox hunting or something (which I should hope I wouldn't be inclined to willingly take part in anyhow), just a... somewhat large dog ...
Ah well. To quote what I am informed on good authority was a <I>Punch</I> cartoon of the 19th century (I'd heard it from another source, no matter, I'll pay it no mind (and what is mind? no matter. What matter? Never mind.) (or something that effect, parodying the philosophy of the day, and of some humor to someone who, like me, <B>did</B> consider becoming a Philosophy student at one point, back during early college.)
Must finish packing, whatnot. To return to topic (<I>there was a topic?</I>) I can only speak for myself, (which need not be said, of course) but aside from somewhat redundantly repeating my earlier welcome and hoping that you'll feel free to join in the board discussion at your leisure, Wildcat, I'm not sure I can think of anything more to say at present anyhow <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">
Many regards

Shadowed Rose: Wow, you *do* have quite a bit of material invested in your work. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> Not a bad job!<P>Eric: Thanks for the welcome! Greyhound? My condolences... outside of buses that had been chartered for band trips, my only two experiences with them were *not* positive. Hope it went well for ya!<P>W4E!

Wildcat-
beats the local, ultraroomless charter I used last time I took a bus ride down to NYC from here (central New York), 7 or so years ago- was stiff for hours if not more. The trip went well, thanks. The return was a transfer and due to traffic and this and that was something of a hassle, so I ended up about three or four hours late- but that would have been par for the course for the airline I used to use, anyway... and it was such a wonderful weekend so...
yes, it did. Very, very well. Thanks!! <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">
Band trips, you say? What sort of instrument do you/did you play, if I may ask? I'm a horrible-ex-violist, myself, whose musical interests are now pursued up other lines.

At midnight, when people are asleep
The moon gleams
and the stars shine for us
only then do we like to rove and sing and dance.
At midnight, when people are asleep
we seek our space
in the meadows, in the alders
and rove and sing
and dance a dream.- <<Elfenliedchen>> (Goethe)<P><p>[This message has been edited by schissel (edited 11-26-2001).]

I did the marching band thing in high school and college, played trombone. I wasn't the greatest musician around, but I enjoyed the experience more and more. I'm afraid I haven't touched the instrument since the last performance I was in, nine years ago.<P>W4E!
