Ah well. To quote what I am informed on good authority was a <I>Punch</I> cartoon of the 19th century (I'd heard it from another source, no matter, I'll pay it no mind (and what is mind? no matter. What matter? Never mind.) (or something that effect, parodying the philosophy of the day, and of some humor to someone who, like me, <B>did</B> consider becoming a Philosophy student at one point, back during early college.)
Must finish packing, whatnot. beats the local, ultraroomless charter I used last time I took a bus ride down to NYC from here (central New York), 7 or so years ago- was stiff for hours if not more. The trip went well, thanks. The return was a transfer and due to traffic and this and that was something of a hassle, so I ended up about three or four hours late- but that would have been par for the course for the airline I used to use, anyway... and it was such a wonderful weekend so...

Band trips, you say? What sort of instrument do you/did you play, if I may ask? I'm a horrible-ex-violist, myself, whose musical interests are now pursued up other lines.

I did the marching band thing in high school and college, played trombone. I wasn't the greatest musician around, but I enjoyed the experience more and more. I'm afraid I haven't touched the instrument since the last performance I was in, nine years ago.<P>W4E!
