More egg on my face. Is <B>Imphais</B> Reyviur's mother? (<I>That's</I> why Rey's half-God? Oy...)
"Mess" you say on the cast page. Oh yes indeed, I can't but agree <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> If so- I've said it before: I (fore)see more trouble.

Oh, looksee, I'm gonna be nice and write a long nice reply...<P>
Achira's mother is the fair Isalaenne (whose surname I don't remember at the moment... Ah, well...), the lady that showed up in The Chosen. And, answering a question somewhere else-from, it wasn't her that Sah' killed, 'twas a lady hmm... Sadira, I think. Wouldn't swear on it, but I think that was her name. I've mentioned it, but it's not like it's had a lot of significance yet, anyways.<P>Ah, yes. But that doesn't mean he can put things right as effortlessly. Not at all. In fact, it almost cost him his neck to try...<P>*giggle* Oh, but it's true. You MIGHT cross Zav once. But never again. Well, except for if you're Kit. It's in children's nature to defy their parents.<P>The shoulder-figures of Shadowrose's are one confused bunch, for the most part. But they know what counts, for the most part. The more the more time that passes. I would not like to see them in an argument in his mid-teens, oh, no...<P>Imphais is R

Hopefully between then and now he's also had good teachers... very few also learn right and wrong, and priorities, entirely on their own. I oversimplify, not deliberately to flatten out the world, but simply to state the direction of my thought rather than my thought itself...

*giggle* And there. Colone isn't very nice to Sah', oh, no, he ain't.<P>And it is a story I have been trying to write for half a year. Once it gets done, it'll go either on some site or in Raptor, can promise that much. It's... Interesting. Although I doubt a certain assassin would agree with me on that point. Near-death is, despite recent events, not his notion of interesting.<P>Oh? What have I now said? <P>Shadowrose's teachers were few and far between, especially after he slain his father. Don't ask me where he's gotten his manners from. Well... The manners he has in OMW. His current manners (when he choses to show he has them) are partially an effect of aforementioned story.<P>Umm, well, yes. But it's every God's right to take Paladins, if (s)he so choses, and it's up to the God in question to decide who is worthy. That's the simple version of the rules.<P>Haven was supposed to be a haven, and was, for a short while. Sah' had not foreseen getting people like Fen and Rob there (not that he dislikes them, mind you), and he'd forgotten about giving his half-brother the means to find Haven despite not being a Paladin. <P>

I do believe "my" dear late rabbit Cleo thinks he has all the necessary qualifications to be a card-carrying conscience.

Leading me to wonder how, if of course this is the tale to which you refer, Shadow got mixed up with Sah' and Sadira, either before or after her demise. Yet more interesting. Assuming always that he is not only a certain assassin, but the particular assassin, "in question" as t'were.

(Wondering if Shadowed Rose might be perhaps responding to my silly mangling of quote statements, as others have since the early days of Keenspot but has taken me forever to get nearly right, by way of mild (inane, really...) humor and to add light variety... but no, I wasn't responding to anything you'd said in so doing.)

And now I begin to wonder if that story involves Sah', Shadow, Sadira (deceased or alive), and Irooz.
Shot in the dark, as it's said.

This is true. Of course, if Imphais has such difficulty distinguishing between her son, on the one hand, and worthy Paladin material, on the other, I have some suggestions.
