Ok, I'll ask. I wonder if he even remembers me, all this time...

Umm... Paladin and evil don't work in the same sentence. But... This is Alex talking, she never makes sense. 'Evil' in this case is pretty synonymous with 'nymphomanic'. So...

Autre temps, autres moeurs, or something... I suppose it depends on their code, and quite a lot else 'sides. Or perhaps, as you said, it has a lot to do with why she retired. Or... a lot of "or"s?

*snicker* Remind me to stop asking for puns. I don't get them, anyways. (F-in' monkey wrench, I knew it, I really did...)

"O joy o rapture" (Ozy in Ozy&Millie put it memorably once, during Llewellyn's election campaign) can be a memorably eye-rolling sarcastic world-weary way of summing one's attitude up, sometimes. I just felt that raptor and rapture sounded alike. It wasn't a good pun.

Collectible works fine, s'long as they cover my mailing cost. Postage here is EVIL. *nodnod* $.50 or thereabouts, last I checked. For 20g. I suspect mailing the 'Zine would be at least $1.50, and that's within Sweden.
Somehow, I think it wouldn't be much use to send a money order for, like, 3-5 dollars worth. Since I suspect just exchanging it for cash would be $2... Stupid post offices...

No, it wouldn't be much use, alas. Hopefully, credit card will work...

Horsies don't ruminate, far as I know. That's moo-moos. *nodnod* Of course, I have a horse that doesn't chew at all, more or less. Eating is faster that way. ^_^

Good point. "I'll forget me head next..."

Definitely planning to make it a reoccurring thing for the 'zine. Of course, there'd be like four issues a year, or thereabouts, so it still would prove quite a lot.
I'm acctually surprised about 'Vayi, didn't guess anyone would care that much about her.

I had quite a few reasons for choosing her. While she doesn't get much airtime, the roles she's called on to play, I sometimes imagine, may be rather - responsible; or perhaps I'm only imagining that she takes her maternal role far more seriously than, say, does Achira. (Due to limited time - library computer, again; I'll be home in 4 or so hours- I think I'll stop there and continue with the rest of the post...)

quote:

And I'm equally surprised you ruled out Jaq and kept Fenni. *ahem* Well, there might be some point, still.

Fenni and Robin both seem to have more to them than Jaq does (mentally and emotionally) and to have gone through quite a lot more as well (though I'll admit I just don't know, in the case of Jaq, and that might modify a little my view of her) and this certainly would influence any choice...
(It wasn't clear, but my initial list was meant to be spread over the first few issues, despite the fact that I then appended yet more names after it, btw...)

quote:

Hmm... I haven't recieved a reply yet, but I mailed and asked just yesterday or the day before... Preliminary, I'd say all of the characters on your list are nice suggestions, even if a few of them are a bit surprising. Due to plot points, Shadowrose and Erinzo (yes, I know he's not technically on the list, watch me care) as well as a few more are ruled out, for the first issue. Which is a rather good reason it's good you gave that many suggestions.

(Tries to remember- reply to what? Have to look over thread later at leisure- which leisure I am now definitely lacking *g* - and figure that reference out...- and as to plot points, right- Shadowrose, though in Haven before Fenni & Robin arrive (they move into his first room?), doesn't appear in PH until later in the series (pair of ducks?)...

quote:

*chuckle* Another front page change is in order...

(Ok, this I don't follow. I definitely need to get more sleep. Ah, right- to clarify what kinds of suggestions and the fact that people who haven't even arrived yet are hors de combat so far as interviews are concerned... right...)
BTW-
if I haven't mentioned yet, I really like this idea...
