Multiple comics - same date

Well in preperation for my signup activation I've read through the gear tutorials and there is one thing that bothers me about this autokeen thingy.
Basically comics need to be in YYYYMMDD.png format for it to work, so what can I do if I want multiple comics released on the same day - but not all on one page.
Any easy way to do this? Or am i just gonna have to do everything manually?

upload them with the same date and with a suffix ~
ex:
20051010a.png
20051010b.png

Doesn't putting the -a, -b, -c etc suffixes just order the comics on the same day on the site, not put them onto seprate days?
