Autokeen Function For Gallery Style Browsing?

Long story short: I am looking for a way to have a semi-automated gallery on my keenspace/comigen site that would be seperate than my comics, kind of a serious art page.

Basically what this boills down to is: Is there any way to configure autokeen (or autogen or whatever it's called now) to create a seperate automated folder like the 'comics' folder under workspace that would upload to a different section of your page, and if that is possible would it be possible to automate an archive page with thumbails instead of just text links for the dates?

If that isn't possible does anybody know of a non-devaintart automated and free online art gallery?

AutoKeen won't do that. Many have asked.

History Lesson: (ignore if you want to)

Essentially, AutoKeen was born from the "lite" version of AutoKeen that the true KeenSpot artists have at their disposal, which will do multiple-directory builds. Example: El Goonish Shive by Dan Shive -- four calendar-based parts to his site.

Why do they get all the fun? 1. It's a lot more work to set up. I saw the instructions once. We get it easy. 2. It's a lot more work for the admins, which is why Keen has had a paid tech since they started. Our admins have enough crap to deal with. 3. They're the 'Spot. We're not. Just another "benefit" of being invited into the club.

I'm sure there is free software out there that can generate thumbnails and code for you on your own comp, which you can dump into a template (with the necessary ad/footer code) and then upload manually (/workspace/webpages/art or stuff or whatever). "Google is thy friend." And then there are those other online services. Good luck, and have fun.

Question: What Image Editor do you use for your comic? (It may have a gallery builder built-in... I know Photoshop does.)

I've been testing arles, and it's not that difficult to make it keenpatible.

I'm using PS CS2, I tired to use the built in gallery maker that's included but when I upload all the generated files to comicgen I simply get blank pages (http://likeashoeinspace.comicgen.com/gallery/index.htm), though they work fine when viewed from my hardrive. I don't think it's an issue of seperatley uploading the image files becasue all the tutorials I've found simply say to upload it as one big package, so it leads me to think that comicgen dosen't like the php involved.

You CAN get a second site that will handle PHP and link it to your ComicGen site. That's how my tagboard works actually. If you make the gallery page on your other server look like your ComicGen site pages then nobody will notice when you change servers. Better yet, use iframes and link to an offsite page.
