Can frames and ***last_day*** coexist?

So when you click on the "today's comic" link on my archive comic pages it recreates indextemplate.html within my main frame, thereby nesting the frames and making everything look stupid. Does anyone know what the actual html behind the navigation button tags is, so I can use that instead of the tags themselves?

You can find out easily enough by just looking at your html files and seeing what the tags have generated -- but ***last_day*** is just a hyperlink to your /index.html file, so you can add a target property to it easily if you don't use the tag. Similarly, ***first_day*** never changes unless you move or change the first comic, so that can be replaced with a hyperlink to /d/YYYYMMDD.html too. It's ***next_ and ***previous_day*** that are the problem, but you wouldn't want those on an archive page anyway, now would you?

Well, when I said "archive page", I meant any comic that is not the latest one, so one in my archives. So I guess my question actually is how does Autokeen generate the daily comic pages to have a link to the previous and next ones, respectively? Is this something that can be generated with html? Looking at the page source for my second comic, I see that the tags generate plain a href links to the previous and next dates, but the missing link is how is that code generated automatically for each day, because it would have to be variable, and since those pages are generated by dailytemplate.html, I can't edit each page individually without having to make each new update page myself. Is there a way to tell Atuokeen to do it my way, or do I just make the pages myself?

As far as I know, Autokeen does this by looking at the files you have in /comics, and generates the dates according to the filenames.

But for your case, I suppose you could just replace ***last_day*** with

so the page loads over the frame.
