I also posted this on the site. Please read and reply:Hello, I'm back, for the time being. Here's the deal, new Zaps will post Today, Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday(whatever you do, do not miss Friday's), then that's it until August. Think of it as a TV show going on summer hiatus. I'll be far from gone though. My new site, "hifalutin.keenspace.com" will be up and running in June, and that's where the Writing Contest winners will be posted. I'll also be running my proposed comic for my portfolio that I'll be showing to editors at the San Diego Con, which I'm hard at work at right now(hence the hiatus on Zap), called "I am a Rocket". Trust me when I say that you have never seen anything like it. It's by far the best work I've ever done. After that's done being run, Hifalutin will be my new home base. From there, you'l be able to link to Zap Jones on Mondays(Sorry, once a week is all I'm gonna be able to give this thing for a while, but it'll be a full page), Park Life on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Ella Phant, Jazz Detective on Wednesdays, and foov(my other strip, secretly drawn by me, until now) on Fridays. It's all just beginning for Hifalutin Funnies Inc., I hope you're willing to take the ride with me come this June.Thank you for your time,

Cool, I wish I could've helped ya there, but I'm already going with a full boat of idiots.I also will be sending you about 5 pages of pencils(or maybe I'll bring 'em to the con and give 'em to ya, if I have 'em done by then) for you to ink and color and then run at Highfalutin for a week. ------------------

...and when I said you were the hardest workin' man in comics.... I didn't even fully realize. Wow, man.. and kudos! I hope working on all these projects give you the creativity and the spark of energy you're looking for!And ... maybe ... see you at the comiccon, I may have found someone to split costs with!------------------

Man, Caleb, good luck on your quest! It'd be cool to see some other Keeners in the paper.And I really want to see "Ella Phant, Jazz Detective!" The name just conjures up so many images I can hardly stand it. Read Raymond Chandler. Please tell me you're reading Chandler to prepare for this strip!And hopefully I'll be able to check some of this work out at the Con, since I'll be there as well.------------------

I'm kinda aiming it at kids, y'know, like Nick magazine or some publication like that, so it won't be real Chandler-like(but it will have dabbles). It will have cool scat dialogue, and a real interesting art style that is turning out to be really cool looking.------------------

In the secretly drawing other strips department, I mean. Besides <A HREF="http://www.horsemencomic.com" TARGET=_blank>The Horsemen</A>, I actually draw three or four other online comics (under various other names), one or two of which are on Keenspace. (The reason for the numerical waffling isn't because I don't know how many strips I draw, but because one or two of them arguably don't count - one because it's a university newspaper strip and I only post new strips on the site as often as my university newspaper runs them, which isn't very often (and not at all over the summer), and one (the newest) because it's obviously closely associated with another strip, in that it's supposedly drawn by a character in that strip.) Unfortunately, having bitten off far more than I can chew, I'm behind on all four or five of them. But I still intend (however unrealistically) to catch up. (The Horsemen is my highest priority right now, followed by the Keenspace strip(s).)Unlike you, however, I'm not going to reveal at this time what other strips I draw. It shall remain a mystery. Bwa ha ha ha ha![Edited because I initially miscounted and wrote "four or five" where I meant "three or four".]------------------

"Ranger Danger" ( a comic I created years ago ) is also going to be on the new site. By the way, 10 Legs is really cool.Zap will return, but it's just too big a project to focus on now. It's gonna take at least 3 years to tell the whole story. I haven't even gotten to the main characters yet ( Hint, Hint )!!!
