To start off on a good note, Yes, there is gonna be an update very soon. Now here's the meat of the message...
I'm taking down the NewGrounds Fan-Net button on the top of the page. I've no longer any interest in NewGrounds, and here's the many reasons why:
First, the whole place has been overrun by just plain bad cartoons by a bunch of untalented, illiterate minors who masturbate at the thought of the latest Playstation RPG babe.
Second, the guy who runs the site, Tom, who made excellent cartoons satiring pop culture and society's standards(which is why he got popular in the first place), hasn't made a single new cartoon that I can think of in almost a year. His stuff was the only reason I came.
Third, any real artist who sends their animations to NG usually end up getting an enema of flames from a gaggle of crusty faced, halfwit, 21st-century latchkey kids in their early teens who shoot their painfully uneducated mouths off just because they're frustrated that their new age, baby boomer desk jockeys that they call parents don't have the five minutes of bonding time needed to teach their children about puberty.
Finally, NG sucks now because, and I'm not exaggerating at all here, half of the screen is composed of ads. When Tom needed funding for his website, he apparently signed to every "e-ad" agency there was on the web. There were at least two banner ads, and shit would pop up everywhere. Now, here's the straw that broke the camel's back- Last week, I was actually e-mail spammed by NewGrounds, with a letter under the name of NewGrounds and not some company, which sent me to a web page offering me the thing that we all hate most of all- a credit card offer.
Man, Tom must be really cheap to stoop this low for website money. This guy would make an old jew look like a big spender. I mean, I'm flat broke, and I'd gladly pay out of my pocket for my website if I had to. I already pay through the nose for art supplies. I save money by cutting corners, like finding a free server, a cheap, out-of-country-monopoly domain hoster, and of couse some alledged software cracking. Sure, I may not have a "Popular" site, but it's not littered with ads. Also, how much of a hypocrate would you have to be if you spinkle a ton of advertising on top of a page that was built on the premise of raging against the corporate machine? If I ever sell my fans out like this, I want somebody to shoot me.
So that's it. No more Fan-Net button. If you support the site and have a complaint about this thread, I DON'T GIVE TWO SHITS AND A FLYING FUCK. Don't even bother finding somebody who cares, because they don't even exist. Thank you.

As for me, I'm not a member of N.Grounds, I've just checked out the site a bit now & then.
Personally, I wouldn't want to wear anything with the connection of the events in September.
A rather big lot of the feedback to material posted there is rather offending.
Someone's taken their time to create something free for others to enjoy & then some just complain to the artist about it, not nice at all.
Tom's cartoons/works were great, yes.

All true, dat.
Though I must admit I see nothing wrong with masturbating at the thought of the latest Playstation RPG babe. Especially not that Riki from FFX. Aw yeah.
------------------
