Hopefully someday I can show some archaic Ronnie comics I made from my childhood....
I guess my characters are inspired by my thoughts, opinions, and of course desires. Some are just characters that I based on a funny name(ie High Horse), others are just characters related to the present story that I decided to stick with. I still have yet to be inspired to make future characters, some which I don't even know aabout myself. I hope to make cartoon characters based on my favorite celebrities, like like the classic characters(IE Bugs Bunny, loosely based on Clark Gable).
Ronnie was always a bad tempered heroic raccoon. Though in the early years, he was a bit more heroic than he is now. Ronnie's more of a twisted type of hero.
Slip was originally an easygoing, short penguin. Not much has changed about him.
Satch was not originally named Satch. His original name was "Tomcat" and he was an "idiot" character. He was stupid, but not stupid like he is today, he was dimwitted stupid. I basically changed his character because these types of characters suck, and they've been done to death.
Flora (who was actually known as "Floria")was originally a self-obsessed valley girl type who griped and complained during adventures, and was in constant tangles when it came to being a part of the team. I changed her almost completely because I thought she should be more of a likeable character. Kinda like Maryanne from Gilligan's Island. Flora also used to be a purebred squirrel.
Rebbecca always had her named spelled with two "B's", but her surname wasn't always "McRose", it was-suprisingly- "Raccoon". Also, she's the one who changed the most visually. She originally looked exactly like Ronnie, except with a hairbow and a red(or was it pink?) t-shirt, signifying her as a female. As time passed, I eventually gave her long black hair and a pair of boobs when I gave the characters a facelift. She always had a thing for sweets, though.
Spike was the only villain in the original series. Well, not the only villain, but the only other villains were his team, the Spikeys, who counteracted the Shackers. Spike always wore a headband, but he didn't wear anything else.
None of the characters wore pants, like most funny animal cartoons. Except for Flor(i)a, who wore a skirt.
That's pretty much all the characters from the beginning incarnation of the comic that made it to today's comic. It was meant to be a Sonic/Tiny Toon type of series originally. As you can see, much has changed.

------------------
