...if our Fleecer friend does indeed have the courage to "see what he's missing", what will the two remaining lawyer 'friends' have to do, I wonder... hmmm, interesting!

all i can say is that the plot is picking up speed. soon we will understand the boodle's reasons for doing as they do and i bet that as complicated as it may be it'll seem simple and true to heart

Well, he's not in Yiffburg yet!
But he's making plans to go... ;)

Fleecer is certainly the most likely member of their bunch to make the
trip... but that would make only half of them. Will the others change
their minds if Fleecer departs?

it is indeed. And actually it's been given already, they are the official
keepers of the powers of the Gods of Yiff. That which they would have
done, now Kit & Kay are trying to do, to the best of their ability.

At this stage he's certainly closer than the other two, though. I can imagine one of 'em would be difficult to persuade, if he'd be worth the effort at all. Some people, no matter how hard you try, will never be friends.

I don't see how either. But the gods of yiff aren't called that for nothing, and if Kit and Kay have their powers, who knows what could happen.

(I notice on the travel website that Fleecer is visiting, it says Yiffburg is somewhere called Islandia Pacifica. I noticed that same country in Kat's fiance's webcomic, it must be a fairly big place. Maybe we could see a map of it sometime?)

That might have some truth in it, Sslaxx, but I disagree that anyone would be "not worth it". Since worth is relative and nothing more than opinion, really, I won't try to argue, but my view is that there is no such thing as pure evil, and that good is very much worth saving (whatever those words mean to you).

People's lives are not black and white. What one person sees as abominable, another sees as acceptable--even beautiful. When we make judgements, it's with the illusion that we own the correct stance when, in fact, there might not be such a thing. We see some things as evil, but to some people it is how they survive. It's what they've been shown and reinforced to think it works. Judgment should be left for whatever higher power we believe in since we cannot say with any cirtanty that we would be any different under the same circumstances or even that we know what those circumstances are. That's why compassion is the only real solution to problems like these. Only trying to meet a person where they is going to truly make things better. What do we want? To make other people think like we do? Is that a perfect world? Wag our finger as we will, but but we do so on unstable ground.
