Internet Radio Ideas

I was wondering if they could make that comic into a radio series or something... ^_^ I mean it would be a good idea if anyone who has the skills to do some voice acting on radio based on the comic. Oh! I'm not talking through actual radio, I mean through the internet. I would like to volunteer in this kind of activity, if that is alright.

Radio? Hmm.. I would think that comics (webcomics in particular) are
more of a visual medium. But it would be interesting to actually hear
the pants and moans and nice rhythmic wet sounds of Yiffburg. ^_^

Hmmm... I suppose there would be a lot of moaning and squishy sounds...

I think... he's probaly got enough on his plate as it is ._o

I used to work for a net station (bitterbitter) and it takes *ALOT* of work to put on even a four hour show let alone run the whole thing...

I couldn't say, really... I'm much more of a visual person than
anything else. I've had friends like Burlington send me radio
dramas (back from the era when radio was mass media)
and I've listened to some AudioBooks, but as to whether my
comic would adapt well to such a treatment, I can't say. With
audio you have to be adept at creating "word pictures", that is,
using language that creates in the listener's mind images that
are as vivid as if they were actually seeing them. I guess it
could be done with the stories I've done - but would it really
be Kit & Kay Boodle? O_O

Well, it does not have to be exactly if you don't want to make it that way. But I aslo thought what if the visually challenged audiance, no offense, who happens to be a furry fan, heard this rumor and starting to have interest and wondering if they could have themselves an adult radio station somewhere? I was just a wonder, that's all. Really, no big deal.

You mean like Playboy Radio (which used to be on XM- Yes, I subscribed to this channel until they took it off), but for furries? Well... Thered's not that much dramatic voice talent in furry (there've only been 4-5 radio-style dramas that I know of, including the Sabrina Online Radio Play), and fewer still who would do inything of an adult nature. It's even a mistake to assume "furries* = "yiff orgy", and thinking that it might be even possible with the limited pool available. Yes, there are a few hundred or so who write furry erotica, and thousands who can draw it (to varying degrees), but not everyone's an actor or even voice actor. (You might get a few who could, though, but it's a tough job to sell such an idea.)

I am also a fan of Old Time Radio, so I do know a bit about the background of such radio dramatisations. Sci-fi and suspense OTR is great- It takes alot to dramaticly paint visualisations with just words, music and sound effects. Alot of planning, with actors and actresses who make it sound convincing. Throw in adult content and see how many actually feel embarassed at not only having to do that, but to be heard doing it as well. Unlike the porn industry (which is done almost solely for the money by all who participate), it takes acting skills and more than a bit of exhibitionism.

Not too many out there who are like Garrison Keiller- I envy such acting ability.

Come to think of it, since I'm a furry fan in general, I've been trying to find that Sabrina Online Radio for sometime. Oh well...

Yup, and the online furry station in the news bit there is currently airing it (and other furry things, as well as general music for furries).
