That's right, Celia, spoil all my fun! :P

I usually add "In my case" before my definition of what a Jellicle cat is. After all, the Jellicles that are described in T.S. Eliot's poems are not quite the same as my kind. Of course, I think that Mr. Eliot was just confused...

Well, okay - my only question is, you were making it sound as though
you wanted a crossover between your comic and mine - which
requires a little more planning. If you simply want Nivvy and Almond
or Cashew to appear in my comic, that's much simpler.

I really have to admit, it's all quite out of my field of knowledge. All
the info I have about Jellicle Cats is based on what T.S. Eliot wrote,
and if he was confused... <=)

Best to ask the set of us. I beleive it was Eliot's wife Valerie that said that all cats are Jellicle cats (and, in turn, all dogs are Pollicle dogs)... or it was in one of those many, unpublished poems.

Being part Irish, part French, part German, part Italian.... No, I have my reasons for not drinking, none of which are religious.

I don't want to think of the abuse I've seen in my own family....

(Besides, being diabetic, there is an adverse reaction that brings the blood sugar dangerously low enough to kill..... Nope, not going there.)

IRL the dogs never actually carried a cask or barrel arround their neck. Artist representations of them rescueing people showed them carring a small cask. Most stories it was either Brandy or whiskey. I have not had brandy and I am not partial to whiskey, so one side must have rum and the other vodka. Yumm...(hick)

Yummm.....
When I was in my 'younger' years, I took a gallon jug of orange juice and mixed in some smooth Swedish Vodka and took it to a party. I noticed after a while that several of the 'attendees' were getting 'three sheets to the wind' a lot faster than normal. Then I caught on to what was happening. They thought the jug contained only orange juice and were mixing rum into it. I mark the jugs now. With the rum added in, it did taste good.
