It's not just words, hon-- When you have been in love, you know how precious it can be. When you have lost that love, having known it, you know how painful it can be.

I've been there.

There is not a day that goes by when I kick myself for all the missed chances..... I hope what's going on now isn't one of them....

I feel no bitterness for the love Kat and shirlee have for each other. Maybe a bit of envy, but I am hoping for my day, where I will have someone just as special to me as shirlee is to Kat.

God bless them and the journeys they share in life.

Yes, it does. I've been there too. I am 50 and have only known my squirrel girl for 25 years. Most of the time before that i was alone. She is the only one I have been intimate with. My early twenties was pretty painful.
