Well I come to the forums rarely, but people seem to be very open minded here. So no worries

This I would attribute to the kind of outlook Kat expresses in his strip and his art over the years. It's even a different approach that alot of the yiffy/spoogey content done in furry just doesn't reach. That's a good thing, in my opinion.

Harassed for being disabled ? Ridiculous! Who ever did that should be fed to a tree shredder.

There are some Big Voices in the furry community who do, unfortunately. There are quite a few who see the disabled (regardless of disability) as being less than equal to themselves- Some will go on and on about how repulsed they are by the fact their own tax dollars go to someone like me, then turn around to offer me a "pity offer" to work for them. No way in Hell would I take such an offer, even if I could.

No interest in penises (peni ??) No big deal, I assume that somewhere around 30-50% of the population hasnt any interest. (I generally do not, myself )

There are some militant gays and mysogynists in furry though.....

Transgendered ? Ah no big deal, one of my best friends is TG and is considering changing over. Im not sure if it will fix anything for him (or her ?) but personally I dont think it really matters in the end.

It shouldn't. Being TG (which encompasses a whole range from transsexual to crossdresser- I'm the latter) is not that critical- I am what I am, but I don't define what I do based on my being what I am. I would rather be liked for me as a person.

that is so mean of people though! Just because someone may be disabled (even if i don't know how) that doesn't give people the right to make fun of you! Same with if you were transgendered to…a…male or female! People like that bother me so much...

IRL, I suffer from a myriad of disabilities stemming from the effects of a disease called rubella while in the womb, including partial blindness and a deformed heart, leaving me physically weak all my life.

I would not ask anyone to go through what I have...except those who wish me harm.

(And yes, I've gotten everything from hate email to threats of physical harm to outright death threats, so yes, I do have good reason to be as concerned as I am. Frankly, if I don't like someone, I leave them alone. I DON'T need to expend my energy on hate or contempt, because it never results in anything good. But I do believe in Karma, and I'll leave to those who have sought harm to me to Karmic justice and let it be. I will have nothing further to do with them.)
