Mutuality... Interesting reason. I wonder if it would really break their mutuality to be with other people though. It wouldn't be about love with Diana and Reynard, so I don't think it would affect them that much. Just having fun with friends. "It was fun... but I prefer you. Always"

But Gods need the help of humans often. Sure most of what goes on dosn;t involve us but the last battle will feature humans prominantly, on both sides.

I did want there to be the element of mutuality in the story, so that
Reynard and Diana, and Tawny and Ted, can make use of it too! :)

Oh no, it wouldn't break their mutuality - BUT every event they share
with one another increases their mutuality level. And they need that
energy working for them, there's been one of their adventures told in
the comic already where they needed as much of it as they could get.
