The Gods of Yiff

I was wondering, if there are Gods of Yiff, would that make Yiff a religion? If so, what are its tenets? I actually got inspired in part by Kit and Kay to do my own comic series (it'll be on Keenspace one day in the future, I guess), and there's a plotline in progress where I just made up a Yiff religion.

But if there was a Yiff religion, what would its supreme goal be, or whatsoever? And who would the Gods of Yiff be, or is that a spoiler? Heh heh

I'd say they may well be more "Gods of Love" than "Gods of Yiff", seeing as they seem to target people in close relationships. As for it's supreme goal? Love sounds a plausible idea.

You're on the right track... I would, however, point out that one
of the things that the beings themselves have tried to clarify- and
seem to have been disregarded by most of those who have come
in contact with them - is that they aren't really gods in the first
place. They *are* non-corporeal, and rather mysterious in their
behaviour, true... and they have made their appearances in ways
that, to those who have experienced them, seem to be mystical
and supernatural. Yet the beings themselves have stated that
they are in fact mortal, vulnerable, and in need of assistance.
Rather lacking in omniscience, no? :)

Indeed. But what is their true natures? Psychic vampires? Do they feed off positive/sexual energies? Are they always non-corporeal, and if not why not?
