Umm - I think Kat just explained that... the question is, if.
This won't be just another variation on the already-existing theme
of boinkberries, for their world. If the existance of boinkberries
in their present state (1) makes people horny, and (2) DOES
provide birth control, then that's already a pretty solidly
established fact. If they are mindful enough of such existing
prevention, it doesn't seem likely that they will abandon it just
because of a new type of boinkberry experience. The real question
will be... is this the kind of experience that will ONLY just make
people more horny? Or will it lead to something else, something
that the citizens of Yiffburg already know (and are often ostracized
for by the rest of the world)? Will they be ready for sexuality as
a conciousness-elevating experience? If they are, then with such
heightened awareness there should be not more unwanted and
thoughtless behavior, but less. And if they aren't, then big
boinkberry wine will be met with fear, not acceptance. There are
a LOT of potential factors in the offing, not necessarily just "more
horniness" alone.

Kat clearly said big boinkberry wine has the same aphrodisiac qualities as a big boinkberry, but without any contraceptive effect.

Sounds like a recipe for unwanted pregnancies to me.

However, I do agree that it would be the consciousness-raising aspect that truly frightened the POwers That Be. They would claim to be worried about the sex, but really, it would be the changing of the minds of the people that they truly feared.

Addictive orgasms + addictive substance - birth control?

Is it just me, or does that add up to a very, very bad idea?
Oop o_o; Good observation, why did I not think of this sooner XD; In Yiffburg this might not be a very common issue cos they already have the normal boinkberries to provide the birth control and maybe have more open mindedness when it comes to drinking and sex but .. worldwide? oops..
Actually, it remains to be seen whether big boinkberry wine would be
that much more addictive. The nature of different societies and the
manner in which they approach sex in general, and orgasms in
particular, would vary in different parts of the world. What would
be more world-shaking would be the sheer availability of such a
substance, and how the world would react to it. Would there be a
theological backlash against it? (Major religions can be extremely
reticent about sexuality, though thankfully not quite as bad as the
example that Seth Triggs recounted recently in BIBP! O_O) Also,
normal boinkberries are already known and used outside of
Yiffburg for their contraceptive effect. So the existance of big
boinkberry wine would not in and of itself defeat that purpose.
(Keep in mind also that wine has alcoholic content as well, and
it would be better not to have to depend on it as far as birth
control is concerned, as pregnant females should limit their
intake of alcohol.)
Well I've been thinking, just out of general, what kind of ingrediance do think it would make a boinkberry wine? ^^ Just think of anything as long you guys are on that subject so much. Hehehe...

Um, er... Since wine is essentially fermented fruit juiced (usually grapes, but may be made from almost any other fruit jiuce, although some fermented fruit juices are ciders), usually squeezed or crushed from the fruit, and stored under specific conditions for a p;eriod of time......

Fermenting is the act of sugars breaking down into alcohol.

So.... I expect no other ingredients... :)

(The oldest methods of food preservation include cheese, butter, creams, wines, ciders, beers/ales/mead, yeast, flour, salted meats, noodles/pastas....)

Eating it Anyway

Post by Fruvous »

I have this theory that a lot of modern cuisine and food technology is based on people who Ate It Anyway.

"Eww, our grape juice went bad!" "Oh well, we'll have ot anyway... say, this stuff is great!"

"Eww, the milk went bad!" "Well, eat it anyway! " Bingo, yoghurt. :)

And so on and so on. :)

Yes, discovering edibility had to happen...and did so at least 5000 years ago, for those I mentioned. (Some even longer...)

So drink that wine, eat that cheese & bread, drink that beer- You're enjoying ancient traditions that have kept man and fur alive! (Not just drunk- Today, the necessity of some of these foodstuffs is much less, and is far more a leisure, now. :) )

And before I go for the night, let me say one word.....

PANTIES!

There, now I can wear my Tinkerbell nightshirt and get some sleep. :)

(For what it's worth, I can't drink alcoholic beverages, but I can enjoy various dairy products-- You know I have this thing for cheese... ;) Not all mice love cheese, but I do. :) )

The lurker returns for a tic. I don't think the big boinkberry wine will be much of a problem worldwide, given that boinkberries originated in Yiffburg. Why? Because this fact is widely known, and Yiffburg isn't popular with the majority of people in the Kit & Kay world. I imagine big boinkberry wine will first gain popularity among people who look favorably toward Yiffburg (and likely already use normal boinkberries for their intended purpose) and word may slowly spread from there, along with the rest of the info. :)

Hooh, I just made my own head hurt!

I was thinking if a guy can eat a pink berry or drink a pink wine or whatnot beacuse of his interests then what happens when you use both of the colors? That last foursome could have used it perhaps..

(Just to be clear to those new here, this mousie is not underage, just undersized for a 27-year-old lesbian anthro mousie, whom, as far as she knows, isn't attatched or really looking that hard, even though she'd like to be involved.)

wow amy i understand how you feel good luck finding your dream girl.
As for me i have some soul serching to do before i look for a mate
as is i don't truely know myself so i can't expect anyone else to wait for me when they could be finding happyness of their own.
the darkness is ever present even in the light.

the perversion doesn't stop just because the sun comes up

if i can make people think and consider their lives even for a moment each day then my life has just that much more meaning

one of the hardest skills i seek to master is the skill of knowing when to shut up

My dear sweet mousegirl, I am sure you break a lot of young fur's hearts; especially we poor males who seem unfortunately out of the running. Oh, well. Perhaps someday soon you will be blessed with a love worth having. Until then, I suppose we'll all have to settle for you being a cute little tease.

(Oh, by-the-way, I suppose you can consider this my first post on this board, although I've been a lurker here and elsewhere on Keenspace/Comic Genesis for quite some time. Well met, everyfur.)

Thank you. I hope so, too...although I'm sure I've irritated a few, too. But thanks for the positive words- It does help. :)

Oh well, at least you need a hug for comfort. I'm thinking of bisexual girls instead so that I could have the chance to have fun with. But too bad I'm still lonely and single, but on the other hand, it's better to stay healthy than getting sexual diseases like AIDS or HIV (Don't make this as a topic or a subject, please). ^.~*

Now back to the boinkberry wine topic, why can't there be any other bevarage that doesn't involve alcohol? >_<
