Something tells me that this arc won't end without yet another surprise from the corner of Squinx and Snowicet... but this leads one to wonder, if the big boinkberry wine, which I am sure is what is now ready, works like the berry itself... What is to stop the Cosmic orgasm from becoming (pardon the joke) Universal?

Great job so far Kat, I can hardly wait to see where you go with this :3

Pardon me, I am so lost, I have been reading Kit n Kay Boodle but I don't remember anything about Boinkberry Wine. What kind of berry is it made of-- large or small? Can anyone tell me about it, if it's not too much to ask??? Thankyou.

Im pretty sure the normal blend is made out of the smaller ones, and it pretty much does everything the actual berries do except for serving as a contraceptive? Which means it has the aphrodesiac qualities.. which would mean big boinkberry wine would also have aphrodesiac qualities - contraceptive powers + the cosmic orgasm that comes from them.. Correct me if I'm wrong, I might do a little forum diving to make sure I'm right on that.

Imagine if they could sell that wine worldwide *_* 7 couples orgasming at a time compared to what.. hundreds, thousands? .. ...Which leads to an interesting thought, I wonder how many people are orgasming at any given time

Blue and pink boinkberries do indeed have a different flavor,
but the wine made from them is only faintly reminiscent of
the taste of the berries. The process of making boinkberry
wine generally cancels the contraceptive effects that the
boinkberries have when consumed naturally; it is the
alcoholic content that enhances the berries' aphrodesiac
quality and, in the case of wines made from the special
(larger) berries, the potential for mind-altering orgasm.

Interesting.

Um...have I ever mentioned I don't drink wine? Or any alcoholic drinks? Not any moral reasons, just never aquired a taste for them. For some reason, they tend to burn in my mouth.

I like the taste of wine, but I can understand how you wouldnt like it.. its one of those weird tastes that need practice, almost.. but one might never get used to it. Apparently though I am much too young to be saying that I know what wine tastes like, so here's where my mouth shuts.

Man! Now I'm really thursty for orange/apple juice mix. Although I'm not an alcoholic man.

; In Yiffburg this might not be a very common issue cos they already have the normal boinkberries to provide the birth control and maybe have more open mindedness when it comes to drinking and sex but .. worldwide? oops..

All my youngin's were planned. Addictive substances did not change those plans.

I merely question the wisdom of marketing an intense-- indeed, cosmic-- aphrodisiac that has had contraceptive powers stripped out.

They do put warning labels on these things, right? At least people know not to crack boinkberry wine at friendly dinner parties? And to have condoms on hand?

I'd kinda like to see something about that when we get back to Snowicet and Squinx later.. like how the whole deal turned out, whether the general effect on people was positive.

Actually, it remains to be seen whether big boinkberry wine would be
that much more addictive. The nature of different societies and the
manner in which they approach sex in general, and orgasms in
particular, would vary in different parts of the world. What would
be more world-shaking would be the sheer availability of such a
substance, and how the world would react to it. Would there be a
theological backlash against it? (Major religions can be extremely
reticent about sexuality, though thankfully not quite as bad as the
example that Seth Triggs recounted recently in BIBP! O_O) Also,
normal boinkberries are already known and used outside of
Yiffburg for their contraceptive effect. So the existance of big
boinkberry wine would not in and of itself defeat that purpose.
(Keep in mind also that wine has alcoholic content as well, and
it would be better not to have to depend on it as far as birth
control is concerned, as pregnant females should limit their
intake of alcohol.)

The main point remains though, Kat.

If it makes people more horny and doesn't provide birth control, I think a huge rise in unwanted pregnancies is inevitable, and this seems like a bad outcome to me.

It seems, to me, that unleashing boinkberry wine on the world without at least giving this some thought is highly irresponsible.

I mean, being too horny is the main reason people skip birth control now, without the enhancement of boinkberry wine.

Of course, to me, the best birth control is non-reprodutive sex. Just skip that vaginal intercourse, boys and girls....

Not that I am biased.

Heh.. people addicted to orgasms - and drinking... and lots of pregnancy ...

Sounds like reality! Maybe the wine would have no appreciable effect.
