NGTI is the only webcomic in an incredibly long time to make it up into the hallowed company of such peers as Sabrina Online, Wendy, and Thin H Line; all deserve praise - but none have evoked the kind of emotional response NGTI has in me. I truly identify with Penny, and all of the other characters (Except for the somewhat flat Kaori) are well-developed, especially for a comic only three months in the running.
In fact, I enjoy reading NGTI even MORE than it's veteran contemporaries I listed earlier. High praise, neh?
I got to today's comic, and I was heartbroken, literally, to find that there wasn't any more NGTI for me to devour. I cannot wait for your next strip; please don't keep us waiting!
As for syndication; forget it. I cannot possibly say and please do not think that I do not believe you deserve to be paid for NGTI; on the contrary I'd gladly shell out my $3.25 every issue were it a comic book, but as a syndicated comic strip? It's too incompatible with the mainstream. It has all of the emotional complexity of Apartment 3-G or Mary Worth, and yet, it has the art style (not necessarily a bad thing) of something more humorous, more...'cartoony', and sometimes, it has that kind of atmosphere (okay, often), but on the whole it's a very diverse, complex comic.
My brother loves it too, by the way; he's madly in love with Shop Girl (what self-respecting furry guy isn't, ehe). Personally, I've already got a crush on Conrad. Is he supposed to be the perfect male? Geez.
Anyway, you should get some T-shirts made! I'd buy a few, and I'm sure my brother would too. Keep it up!
Katarhyne Stone, dedicated fan and internet junkie
------------------

I got here through Wendy, and I must say this is certainly an awesome comic, and one of my favs.
I don't think syndication is too likely because, well, good comics don't seem to get syndicated. Most of them are ancient, boring dinosaurs - and while there are a few that are ok, my favourites are all internet comics.
Of course, that's not to say that you can't make money with it. I'm pretty sure Sluggy, for example, is profitable.

quote:
Originally posted by Kittens3x0r:

After being a faithful online comic reader for 6 months, I have run across NGTI. All I can say is WOW. I identify with almost every character, even Kaori (of whom I act like on bad days). Keep up the good work, girl!! I am hooked for life, and I've only started reading NGTI 3 days ago! I cannot wait to see this story line play out! ^-^
Also, I have a younger sister that wishes to start her online comic pretty soon. She admires your work as if it were produced by the gods themselves. *^_^*
Keep doin' the good stuff!

Shalom!
I was out for more than a week, so, I needed to review all those strips - and, as people said above, greetings, Kiwi!
Yours,
