Another argument for hand-written - in the second panel, you misplaced the text and it gets cut off... you can still get the gist of it, though.
------------------

I have no idea what happened. It looked just fine in Photoshop, I converted and uploaded it, and then I left the house. Ah well... it's fixed now, plus I fixed Kaori's mouth in the second panel cuz I didn't like the way it looked.
But funny that I don't really get comments on major plot strips that take much longer to do... ;_;

Okay... I really, REALLY like the way you portrayed Penny's magic, rather Akira-ish. The kiddy versions of Penny and Kaori are superb; rather than just being smaller bodies with the same sized heads, they were a likely regression to that age. And I'm quite curious as to how Delegato feels about Penny - not to mention how Penny truly feels about Delegato - and how 'gat's about to feel about Conrad. }:D
In addition, I'd like to make it clear that I've been cutting down on comics recently, since my list is far too extensive, and takes me more than half an hour to work through. However, yours is still on the list. I'm enjoying the plot, the characters, and the humor immensely. Don't stop!
As for commenting on the text, I was fairly sure you weren't aware of it. You wouldn't have uploaded it if you were! As such, I made note of it, since I figured that was something you'd like to know about post-haste.
(Plus, you should remember whom you're talking to. Someone sent me a picture of a woman in her underwear recently - yes, there was a context - and I noticed the crop job, along with the bicubic resampling. This is me we're talking about. I spent more time trying to spot the conversion artifacts than actually enjoying the movie when I watched Disney's "Dinosaur"... I'm a boring, geeky fellow, and that's what I'm going to see.)
------------------

Shalom!
Meredith
About me, an argument PRO comp's lettering:
It's more a question on get used to it, the results are more clean, fast, and allows more time for you to do another things, or experiment something new, either on Photoshop or another image editor - I know, 'cause I was on lettering for comics in my beggining, and that is, literally, sucks( forgive me for the word, please ); if theree's something that can be used to easier your life, and made acceptable results without alter( alike comp's lettering ), use it - if the results are'nt satisfactory at the first tryings, continue until it gets!
Criticyze( and I'm not referring to you, above, just explaining my own opinion )comp's lettering as "mechanical" is similar to the absurd of criticyze CG for colouring - sure, we need to learn BOTH techniques, but we can see CG as another tool( and a very, VERY useful one ), just it alikes to wonderful works on pastels, oils, watercolor, etc - just another media!
Keep this wonderful work of yours, Meredith - you already gained a fan!
Care,
Marcos

100+ is way excessive. Im more along the lines of Veavitop and have been trying to cut back, spending 40 minutes a day reading comics is a bit too much, and some of the ones i still love but are totaly falling behind in updates and such are getting droped. Anyone know whats going on with the suburban jungle? i love that strip but its been total ass for updates lately, and has been on 'hiatus' for several weeks now
^_^x KD

45 - after today's cut, which of course doesn't include the fact that I'm making my owncomic... hey, I know other people have the time to go through many many many comics! I'm just not one of them. I pick and choose the comics I patronize, because I feel I'm doing them more justice than being selective (beyond "oh. Webcomic. Bookmarked.").
------------------

heh.. well, I can read 120 comics in less than an hour if I don't hang around the forums..
And there are over 120 good webcomics.. Though I can't say all comics in my bookmarks are true gems..
I do select heavily on what I bookmark though.. Only in the first days I discovered webcomics I would bookmark anything half decent..
