Bat + nail?

well, on wednesday's comic I saw something very odd... it was a bat but it had a NAIL IN IT (insert dramatic music). nothing really... I just thought they put nails in boards... not bats. I mean, who would ruin a perfectly good bat by inserting a NAIL!!!! into it? UNLESS! What's wrong with a nail bat? Bats are long and blunt, nails are short and sharp, they go together like spaghetti and meatballs. Whack someone with a bat and you'll bust 'em up, add a nail or ten and they'll get busted and ripped like something awful. <P>What I'm wondering is why she had the nail bat. Like she really intended to beat the living hell out of Gats just because he was being a dick. I'd expect her to prefer making up with him to bashing him upside the head with a bat.
