Let it be known that at 2:54am on Friday, March 30th, I completed Final Fantasy 9. Approximately 4-6 monthes after everyone else in the world. And there you have it. Now back to Chrono Cross and the other nine million endings I haven't gotten yet.
JB
------------------

Ah yes. After FF9, I went back to Chrono Cross, of which I had only seen 2 endings of the 11. I am now working my way through the game over and over again, with two objectives: A complete roster and seeing every ending! So far so good. I have seen 7 endings now, and I have completed the game twice start-to-finish, and I am on my third time through. I spend all my time collecting rainbow shells and trapping elements, but the darn monsters just never use the ones I want!
JB
------------------

From http://www.gaming-intelligence.com : "GameSpot VG also reported that Final Fantasy X now has a tentative North American release date of 'early 2002.' Previous announcements had pegged the title with a November 2001 release."
The FF movie 'The Spirits Within' had better do well in the theatre. And I saw the tomb raider preview too. Hot diggity dog!
JB
------------------

As with all convoluded squaresoft games, enough game time and you eventually get it without putting too much thought into it. That or you get so strong it no longer becomes an issue I don't pay attention to the colors anymore because I forged all "Rainbow" equipment! I've also found "auto-allocate" works quite well for elements, and I just fill in the top elements with special stuff. generally the comp gives you plenty of cure and revive and basic element attacks.
FF8 with it's silly Guardian Forces and stuff, man, that was a trip, and that took some effort to figure out.
JB
------------------
