FOGAdv Creator seeks Artist for 9-11 story:

Okay. It's February. The attacks on the World Trade Center and the pentagon happened 5 months ago. I know.However, all the 9-11 books that have been coming out of the comic book community (and are still coming) have gotten my old creative juices flowing on the subject, and I personally feel I have at least one good story to tell about the hereos of September 11th.Now, I would love to draw these stories, but I honestly don't have the time to do so, so the call is going out to all you artists out there.If you are interested in doing 6-10 pages of art for free for a story written by me, Dennis Kanenwisher, please reply to this thread with a LINK (not an image) to some of your work for me to consider and I will choose whomever I feel is best suited to draw this story. (Or to the one guy who will actually reply ^^)Here's hoping I get a response. ^_^------------------

Hmm... I wouldn't mind keeping myself a little busy with art. I've been so busy trying to get as far ahead with my comic for a while that I need somewhat of a break. If you don't mind the way I draw, that is. It might not even be the style you are looking for. Just go to my strip and take a look. Hey, I'd like to give drawing your story a shot. Could I ask that even if you decide to give the job to someone else that you give me a copy too? I've noticed that lately I'd like to draw a comic, but since I have practically no writing skills I am unable to do so. If I had a pre-written script, I might actually be able to pull something out. A word of notice: I am a begginer artist with a taste for realism. Therefore my art can sometimes look really good minus the person which looks like some mythological monster. It is also a very slow process for me, since I put very heavy accuracy into everything I draw. Perfectionism, a gift and a flaw. LOL, whatever. If you're intrested in some of my work, email me: cfuller603@aol.com and I'll direct you to my site. Why don't I just give it to you, you ask? Because if you really did want to see it, I'd actually have to update it with some new stuff first!

Hello there Dennis. You have a really good idea there and I would like to help out in any way I can. At the time of the attacks I was attending the Academy of Arts College in San Francisco...although, since then I have left the academy and am currently enrolled in a community college to study Fire Service Technology. Which is a really interesting and difficult field to get into by the way. ^_^ ; Even though I've only been studying it and training in it for a while, my sense of appreciation for what these men go through has only increased further. It would be great to be able to work with you on a project since I'm a big fan of the F.O.G Club. Hey Dennis,Seeing that as the moment, 3 of us offered, how about you split the job up between all of us. It's only a suggestion, but doing it this way, you could get different people work together to put it together, different art styles and you could probably have it out faster with all of us working on it. What do you think?If you don't want to do it this way, no problem. Its only a suggestion. I'll go crawl back into my hole and get something to eat now. I'd like to see what you say. I hate when more than one artist does something. Unless it's a crossover deal and the characters are being drawn by their respective creators....

Of course. For what I have in mind. That MAY work. But I'd need three very DIFFERENT artist styles to do it.------------------

Ehh Sorry If I'm A Little Low On Board Posts... School Work Has Thus Taken Over My Life, But Now That My Projects Are Done, I Can Rest And Work On Some Comic. Hey, if You Let Me, I'll Do A Strip Or Two For It. You Probably Don't Want Me Doing the Whole Thing, Though. My Art Pretty Much Sucks. Well, I JUST Started In The Comic Community, So Gimme A break. I Draw them In Old American Style... Sketchy With Only Four Panels. I Know, I'm Too Lazy To REALLY Work At It, But If I Did, I Promise Good Quality (I Think...). Of course, this is all my anime style, I've done some other stuff that looks decidedly darker, but nothing online.
